  • pronounce names of colours

  • pronounce each familiar colours and expressions intelligibly

  • write names of colours and find them

  • distinguish colours

  • make sentences with these colours

Organization moment

Greeting: Teacher greets pupils.

  • Good morning, children!

  • Good morning, teacher!

  • How are you?

  • We are fine, thank you!

Pupils respond to greeting and take their places.

Dividing into three groups:

- Now, children, let’s divide into groups. You see the Traffic lights. Each traffic light has their colour. At first you should take one circle from me and you should sit according to your colours.



Warming up

  • Pupils play game “Board Race”.

Game description: There are pictures of members of family on the board. Pupils repeat members of family. Student who touches the answer first gets a point.

T: Look at the blackboard. You see the members of family. Each person has something. Let’s describe them.

Mummy has a red flower. Daddy has a blue car. Brother has a green pen. Sister has a yellow apple. Brother has a purple fish. Sister has an orange cat.

- Very nice, pupils! Why do I show these things to you? What do you think?

- You are right. Their colours are different. Let’s learn. Teacher presents names of colours showing pictures.

Listen and watch. Pupil’s books open. Play the DVD disk. (Video about these colours). Let’s repeat!

Game “Who is the quickest?”

First I name the colour then you show me your pencils. Let’s begin!

A red pencil! A green pencil! A yellow pencil! An orange pencil! A purple pencil! A blue pencil!

Let’s watch video! Ex:7 page 8 (Pupil’s book) You see the story. Look at the blackboard. Let’s watch together.



- It’s red, Daddy!

- Now, it’s green, Daddy!

Relaxation moment.

- Pupils, are you tired? Then let’s relax! (Physical exercise)

T: Bravo, pupils! The next task is to colour. Ex: 4 page 23 (Activity book) You should colour. (2min)


Game: “Fishing”

T: Bravo, pupils! Let’s play a game. Our game is called “Fishing”. You should to catch fish and name their colour. At first I’ll show to you how catch fishes.

  • What colour is it?

  • It’s a red fish.

  • What colour is it?

  • It’s a blue fish.

Feedback

Pupils share opinions if they liked/disliked the lesson by colouring their traffic lights and explaining the reasons using simple language. If they liked the lesson then they will colour a green circle. If they disliked the lesson then they will colour a red circle.

T: Thank you very much, pupils! You were very active today! Your marks are “Bravo”, “Excellent”, “Very good”. The lesson is over! Good bye, pupils!
