Тема урока: Разнообразие профессий (The world of professions)
Цель: активизация лексики по теме, развитие навыков монологической речи, аудирования.
Задачи:
образовательные: совершенствование и активизация употребления лексики по теме, навыка аудирования и говорения.
развивающие: развитие внимания, мышления, языковой догадки, воображения, развитие способностей работать в парах.
познавательные: расширение кругозора обучающихся, знакомство с иноязычной культурой.
воспитательные: воспитание уважительного отношения к мнению окружающих, воспитание культуры мышления, общения, уважительного отношения к труду.
Планируемые результаты:
предметные:
обобщение лексического материала по теме, его углубление и расширение через все виды речевой деятельности;
приобретение дополнительных знаний о профессиях;
развитие коммуникативных умений по теме (развитие умений аудирования и монологической речи).
метапредметные:
развитие коммуникативных УУД через разные виды речевой деятельности, в том числе умение планировать речевое и неречевое поведение.
формирование умение монологического высказывания с опорой на данную информацию.
развитие регулятивных УУД, а именно целеполагание, планирование, самонаблюдение.
Личностные:
воспитание у обучающихся ценностного отношения к жизни, уважение к людям разных профессий.
осознание обучающимися возможностей самореализации посредством иностранного языка и правильного выбора будущей профессии.
развитие мотивации к обучению как основе успешной профессиональной деятельности.
Оборудование: учебник «Английский в фокусе», 10 класс, Афанасьева Ольга Васильевна, М: Просвещение, 2016 г; раздаточный материал (карточки); аудиозаписи.
Формы работы: парная, фронтальная, индивидуальная.
Тип урока: комбинированный.
Ход урока
Приветствие. Оргмомент.
Целеполагание. Введение в тему (учащимся предлагается прочитать стихотворение и самостоятельно определить тему, цель, задачи урока).
T: Look at the blackboard and read the poem “I want to be”.
Some people often say to me:
“Have you decided what you want to be”?
I usually answer “I don’t know”,
But it isn’t really so.
I want to win an Olympic race.
I want to see the Earth from space,
I want to travel to Katmandu,
I want to be rich and famous, too.
I want to be on Hollywood’s screen,
I want to invent a new machine,
I want to be very clever and wise,
I want to win the Nobel prize.
T: What do you think we are going to talk about at our lesson? What is the theme of our lesson?
SS: We are going to speak about our future, plans, jobs, professions.
T: Is this topic important for you? Why?
SS: It’s important because soon we will have to make the choice of our future professions.
T: So what are the objectives of this lesson?
SS: We will learn new words, get information from exercises and dialogues about jobs and professions.

T: Look at these cards. Name these professions.
Т: And let’s play the game. Name as much professions and jobs as you can.
T: Right you are. We have the next exercise. There are a lot of jobs and they can be divided into categories. Look at the job categories, match the jobs to the categories.

T: Look at the blackboard. You can see a letter “S”. Please, draw it with your eyes first one way, then the other.
Развитие навыков аудирования.
T: Listen how five people speak about their job and define their profession.
S1 – hairdresser
S2 – student
S3 – sales assistant
S4 – pilot
S5 – taxi driver
T: What attracts these people in their profession? Choose the appropriate answer.
S1 likes reading books
S2 likes talking to people
S3 likes visiting other countries
S4 likes working at night
S5 likes the other staff
Использование приобретенных знаний на практике. Развитие навыков монологической речи. Работа в парах.
T: Work in pairs. Choose a job from ex. 1, 2 and describe it to your partner. Think of a personal characteristics the job requires.
SS: If you want to be an architect you should get higher education to become a professional person. You have to study art, technology, drawing, math. This job is full time. It asks for a lot of responsibility but it pays good salary. An architect has to be creative, responsible, clever, self-organised, hard-working.
Домашнее задание.
T: Please, open your record books and write down your home task for next lesson. Your home task is to make project about your future profession. You can design it in your own taste. Tell about this profession, personal qualities necessary to succeed in it, good or bad points, and everything you want to say.
