Урок "Face the music"

Учащиеся активно применяют навыки устной разговорной речи на казахском, английском, русском языках по творчеству Шамши Калдаякова, владеют навыками литературного перевода с казахского на английский и русский языки. Умеют проводить этимологический анализ слов и выражений на трех языках.

Свободно употребляют лексику по теме «Face the music».

Тема: Face the music (по творчеству Шамши Калдаякова).

Задачи:

Обучающая – учить грамотному этимологическому анализу на основе сопоставительной лексикологии, формировать умение точного понимания информации, речевых умений и навыков.

Развивающая – развивать способность осуществлять продуктивные речевые действия, развивать критическое мышление через умение сравнивать, сопоставлять, анализировать и обобщать исследуемый материал, на английском, казахском и русском языках, развивать воображение, развивать умение работать в малых группах, используя технологию обучения в сотрудничестве, развивать интерес к культуре и традициям Казахстана, к песенному жанру на основе творчества Шамши Калдаякова.

Воспитательная – воспитывать культуру общения во время работы в микрогруппах, воспитывать у учащихся чувство патриотизма, любви к родине, воспитывать у учащихся такие качества, как толерантность, дружелюбие, самостоятельность.

Форма урока : заседание литературного клуба.

Оборудование: интерактивная доска, компьютер, музыкальный центр.

Прогнозируемый результат: учащиеся умеют:

  1. грамотно проводить этимологический анализ слов и выражений с казахского языка на английский и русский языки;

  2. обмениваться информацией по творчеству Шамши Калдаякова на английском, казахском и русском языках.

План урока

  1. Организационный момент. – 2 минуты

  2. Сообщение и разъяснение целей урока. – 1 минута

  3. Разминка. – 3 минуты

  4. Формирование навыков устной разговорной речи (беседа по творчеству Шамши Калдаякова) – 15 минут

  5. Вывод. – 1 минута

  6. Творческое применение знаний, умений и навыков (этимологический анализ песни и ее перевод с казахского языка на английский и русский языки). – 20минут

  7. Вывод – 1 минута

  8. Подведение итогов, рефлексия - 2 минуты.

Звучит мелодия «Арыстың жагында». На столе фотография Шамши Калдаякова. Два учителя сидят, задумавшись, слушают музыку. Один за другим входят дети. Подсаживаются и тоже слушают музыку.

Г.Ч. Right you are! I support your ideas. By the way, do you know the name of this song?

Л.Р. Oh, it is on the tip of my tongue…

Something like… on the bank of the river or… about our nature…

Г.Ч. “On the bank of Aris”

Ученик – Oh, what a wonderful music!

Л.Р. Are you here! Welcome! Glad to see you.

Ученик:I like to dream while listening to this kind of music.

Ученик: As for me I’m fond of classical music and I like it very much too!

Ученик:It helps us to relax and to be calm.

Ученик: We enjoy it with great pleasure.

Ученик:Қанағат.

Л.Р. All of you are right!But, what time is it? (глядя на часы) Oh! It’s high time to start the work of our club. Today the theme of our English club is “Face the music”. As you’ve understood already we shall speak about the music and creative work of our famous Kazakh composer Shamshy Kaldayakov. But first of all, look at the black board: Here are the words of our president Nursultan Abishevich Nazarbaev. He suggested to start the realization of the cultural projectof three languages. As he says that if our country wants to be a self confident, highly educated and cultural state, it’s population must know and speak at least 3 languages: Kazakh – as the state language, Russian – as the language of national communication and English – as the language of successful interesting into global economy.That’s why while speaking about and admiring at a wonderful music of Shamshy Kaldayakov, try to use any language you prefer. So, look, at this foto. This is Shamshy Kaldayakov. I believe that you have got enough information about his biography, because the name of this outstanding composer is well known in every aul and large city. He was famous mostly for waltzes and music for songs. But say me please: what do you know about him?

Ученик:I know that Shamshy was born in 1931 in a small aul by the Arys river Shimkent region. His father was a poor craftsman and his mother was a very charming and talented woman. As Shamshy remembers, she always sung at the wedding parties and among the friends.

Л.Р. - Yes, moreover it was exactly his mother, whose talent and a good ear for music he inherited. But … as everybody knows songs didn’t feed people at that time. That’s why Shamshy had to choose the road in the life.

Ученик:As far as I know Shamshy decided to become a stockbreeder. Time passed, he worked in his native plase, served in the army, but songs never went out of his mind.

Ученик:As far as I remember only in 1954 Shamshy entered Musical College in Tashkent. But his life made a sharp turn when he met a famous Kazakh singer Jamal Omarova. She persuaded him to leave Tashkent for Almaty.

Ученик: He was admitted to the Kazakh Conservatoire named after Kurmangazy. Being a student Kaldayakov composed many songs which brought him fame. Among them are: “In a boat”, “About Mother”, “Dream”, “Heart’s call” and many others.

Ученик: So, his popularity was growing with bounds and leaps. And I know that a very industrious person and he wanted to work hard.

Ученик: As I’ve read, to look for themes and characters of his songs Shamshy traveled the length and breadth of the of country. He met farmers on the virgin lands and metallurgists of Karkaralinsk , sheep –breeders of Moyinkums and coat- miners of Karaganda. Wherever he went he found those for whom he wanted to compose.

Л.Р. You are right, Nursia. Those were the most productive years of his life. At that time precisely such as “On the bank of Arys”, “Oh, hove Moyinkums”, “Phosphorous Tumbul”, “In Embrace of love”, “ The Hymn of Kazakstan” (“Менің елім Қазақстаным”) appeared. By the way. Do you remember that wonderful melody at the very beginning of you work shop? It was exactly the song: “On the bank of Arys”. Moreover I know, Gulbanu Chapievna, that you like this song very much and once I even heard your singing. It was nice! I want you to sing it for us, will you!

G. Ch. I’ll try, but I don’t believe I can do it perfectly.

Ученик I also know this song and I try to help you and sing with you.

Ученик: Please, Gulbanu Chapievna, don’t be shy. We’ll help you! (Поют 1 куплет песни)

Ученик: Бұл өлеңді мен алғашқы рет 1997 жылы Тараз қаласындағы «Баласагун» сарайында Ш.Қалдаяқовқа арнайы арналған кешінде естігем. Осы өлең менің жүрегіме үлкен әсер қалдырды. Бүгін өлеңді екінші рет естігенімде осы оқиғаны көзіме елестеттім.

Л.Р. Жарайсың, Леша. Өте жақсы үлгі. But I want you to know one very important fact from Shamshy Kaldayakov’s life: In 1965 he was awarded the State Prise of the Lenin Komsomol of our Republic for his notable contribution to the music art.

Ученик: Yes, as for me, I know this fact. I think that Shamshy Kaldayakov’s cherished desire was to compose music for those who was waiting for it, who sang his songs. And he did everything possible not to disappoint their expectations. He ranks high among the song writers.

Ученик:And the government of our country expressed a high opinion on his work and awarded him different orders and diplomas. But, to my mind, the most valuable prise for the composer was the love of his audience. He devoted all his life, talent and musical works to his admires.

Л.Р. I quietly agree with all your opinions. But do you know the history of our modern Kazakh anthem?

Ученик (and all pupils):

Of course, we know. It was a very popular Kazakh song “Менің елім Қазақстаным”. Our parents used to sing it everywhere. Because the words and melody were so patriotic and solemn (ceremonial) that while singing they were always proud of their Motherland. And nowadays it became the main song of our country.

Л.Р. You are right, Rahima. It became the anthem of our state, the anthem of Kazakstan. And I think it’s just the time to sing the anthem all together. Let’s sing it all together. (спели гимн)

Л.Р. Thank you. Sit down, please.

Ученик: May I add. Probably you know that every year a splendid competition pf singers is held in honour of this outstanding composer and we have a happy opportunity to enjoy Shamshy Kaldayakov’s lyric songs, songs about his native land and about people for whom he had been creating his unforgettable songs for many years.

G. Ch.:And now we want to introduce you with one of the most beautiful and lyric songs “You were my song”. Please, give me the translation of the name of the song.

Ученик: I enjoyed this song very much and just now I have prepared the translation of the second couplet. But it is Russian variant (ученик пишет на интерактивной доске).

Может, где-то в небе, может, высоко.


Ученик: Let’s sing the first couplet in English, the second couplet in Russian, the third couplet in Kazakh ( дети поют три куплета на английском, русском и казахском языках).

Conclusion

Ученик: Маған бүгінгі сабақ өте ұнады. Ш. Қалдаяқовтың әндерін жаттап айтып жүремін.
