Описание разработки

Цель: организация деятельности учащихся, направленная на прочное усвоение знаний, умений и навыков по теме.

Задачи:

Общеобразовательные: развивать навыки аудирования, диалогической, монологической речи по теме, обобщить знания учащихся по теме средства массовой информации, дополнить их новыми сведениями используя Сингапурскую методику преподования.

Развивающие: развивать коммуникационные навыки и логику.

Воспитательные: повышать интерес к СМИ, выработать мотивацию к изучению английского языка.

УМК: Биболетова М. 3

Оборудование: учебник, 2 тетради, карточки , тексты для чтения, компьютер.

Ход урока.

1) Орг момент. Good morning , boys and girls. I am glad to see you. Oпрос дежурного.

2) Today we will speak about «Mass Media» and our aim is to generalize our knowledge on this question. So well, what is it Mass Media? What words is belonging to Mass Media?

(Television, Internet, radio, cartoon, chat show, quiz show, game show, the news, soap opera, documentary, wildlife)

Which media is the most popular in your family?

Do you like radio?

How much time do you use Internet at home?

What TV programmers do you like?

Can you watch any American or British programmers in your area?

Who in your family watches television more than others?

We will use Single Round Robin in our phonetic exercise.

3) Children, do you know about advantages and disadvantages of Mass Media? There are a lot of advantages and disadvantages of Mass Media. The next will be exercise Relly Robin. You are two persons. One person will say about advantages and the second person say about disadvantages.

We may rest, relax, receive information, listen to about famous people and etc/

TV is definitely the most popular way of getting information. It attracts the attention of million of people every day, every evening. TV is very important thing in our life. We can say that TV is our eyes because TV helps us to know more about the world, about the other countries, about the events that happened in the world. TV even helps you to know more about yourself. People watch TV for fun and entertainment. There are some educational and cultural TV programmers. We may watch quiz shows and talk shows. Some soap operas, sitcoms make us relaxed and help us escape from reality, routine. However, I must say that watching TV takes all free time from almost all people. Millions people in the world spend hours watching TV every day. Many people become TV – addicted and it’s really a problem of our time. These people call “couch potato”. Researchers in the USA have said that when most student leave school they have spent 11,000 hours in the classroom and 22,000 hours in front of the TV. Russian researchers say that the average Russian teenager spends about 20hours a week in front of the TV



What is the really problem of our time?

How do such kind of people call?

How much time do students spent in the classroom and in front of the TV?

  2. Итог .Today we speak about Mass Media. We can hardly imagine our life without TV, radio, newspapers, the Internet. They are important for us. They offer us different programmers to satisfy all tastes. But, All in good time.- Всему своё время. You must divide your time correctly. You should do everything in time.
