Before making your dialogue learn some expressions and word combinations

When we want to suggest something we use one of the following forms:

• Let`s … -давай, давайте …
• Why don`t we … ? – почему бы нам не … ?
• Why not … ? – почему бы не … ?
• How about …ing …? – как насчёт … ?
• Would you like to … ? – не хотел(и) бы ты (вы) …?
• We could/might … - мы могли бы …

If we agree to a suggestion we say:

• It`s a perfect idea! –идеальная идея!
• That`s a good idea! – хорошая идея!
• It sounds great! – звучит замечательно!
• I don`t mind! – я не против!
• Yes, lets! – да, давай(те) !
• It might be interesting –должно быть это интересно!
• All right! – хорошо!
• OK! – хорошо!

If we disagree we say:

• I'm sorry but I don`t like … - сожалею, но мне не нравится …
• I'm too tired – я слишком устал(а).
• We haven`t got time – у нас нет времени
• I would rather … - я бы лучше …
• I would rather not – скорее нет.

Make up your dialogue.

• Look through the programme at page 49 and convince your friend to go to a concert. Use the reasons from the exercise 6 at page 49.
• Use the scheme for making up your dialogue.
