My Daily Routine
Lesson for the 3d form
The type of the lesson – it is a traditional lesson with the using of presentations.
The aims of the lesson:
1. Educational: to introduce and consolidate the new words for the daily routine and structures, to enrich pupils` knowledge of the targeted language.
2. Developing: to develop pupils reading, writing, listening and speaking skills.
3. Bringing – up: to develop the interest to English language, to teach pupils to respect each other and the culture of other nations, to bring up them to love English language.
The methods of the lesson: demonstrative lesson
Visual aids: slides, pictures, an interactive board, cards.
The procedure of the lesson:
Greetings, warming up.
Teacher:
It’s time to say “Hello”,

Today we have an unusual lesson.
First of all I want you to listen to the story about Dino.
Phonetic exercise:
Динозаврик Дайно проснулся рано. Он сел, потянулся и посмотрел на большие часы, которые стояли в углу: о-о-о- clock-clock-clock. Часы тикали тихо-тихо: t-t-t-tick-tock. Tick-tock. Дайно подошел и покачал головой: ai-ai-ai- time-time-time. Динозаврик вспомнил, что давно не заводил часы: w-w-w-what-what-what. Дайно отошел от часов и удивленно спросил сам себя: What is the time? Часы пробили семь. It is seven o`clock.
Мы продолжаем разговор о времени. Давайте вспомним стихотворение о времени. (Дети читают стихотворение стоя) As you see the topic of our lesson is the time and your day(pastime). We continue speaking about the time.

3. The main part of the lesson.
1.Speaking. Learning new words and word combinations.
Let's speak about clocks and watches.(3,4 слайд). These are clocks. These are wall clocks which hang on the wall. This is an alarm clock which rings and wakes us up in the morning. This is a clock radio which tells time and plays music. Some of them electric and other need batteries. These are watches which are worn on the wrist. All the clocks and watches can be mechanical and quarts.
There is a face, long hand and short hand on the clock. (слайд 5)

Let’s remember how to ask questions about the time and answer them. When your clock shows less than 30 minutes you must use past, when it shows more than 30 minutes you must use to. 30 minutes =half and 15 minutes =quarter.(слайд 6,7)

2.Listening and comprehension.
Teacher:
