Тема: Happy New Year!

Цели:

• ввести и отработать слова по теме «New Year»;

• развивать речевую культуру учащихся, культуру общения;

• расширять с помощью английского языка представление учащихся об окружающем их мире, о языке как средстве взаимодействия с этим миром;

- формировать положительную мотивацию учения, готовность воспринимать культуру страны изучаемого языка.

Ход урока

I. Организационный момент. Вступительное слово учителя.

Good afternoon, children! Nice to meet you! How are you? Today we've got a New Year Lesson.

Listen to the poem and say what season it is about.

This is the season

When mornings are dark

And birds do not sing

In the woods, in the parks

This is the season

When children ski

And Father Frost brings

The New Year tree. (Winter.)

• What are winter months? (December, January, February.)

• What are winter holidays? (Christmas and New Year.)

• When is Christmas in Britain? (December, 25th.)

• When is New Year? (January, 1st.)

II. Введение лексики.

Let's learn New Year and X-mas words. Look at the pictures. Read and say what this is in your language. (См. Приложение I.)

III. Закрепление лексики.

- Звучит мелодия When Christmas Comes To Town из мультфильма «Полярный экспресс».
Дети все вместе слушают песню.

Под елкой появляется фигурка рождественского Деда Мороза.

Father Christmas wants to play X-mas Game with you. Listen to his commands and do if only he adds "please".
Учитель от имени рождественского Деда Мороза отдает команды, дети выполняют их только в том случае, если звучит слово «please».

Stand up Clap your hands

Make a circle Bend your knees

Hands up (down) Hands on hips

Touch your nose (ear, hair) Close your eyes
Shake your head Spin around etc.

• Guess the Christmas words.

IV. Итог урока.

I wish you a merry Christmas and A Happy New Year. Let's sing together.

Дети все вместе поют песню «We Wish a Merry Christmas».
