  • recognize different professions by description (It's a man. He works at school. He teaches children. He works in the hospital and treats people)

  • describe people using the dictionary (Fireman is brave. Doctor is kind)

  • use future forms for describe their future profession (I'll be a fireman. I will be brave and save people.)

Most can:

  • ask simple questions to get information about professions (Who is it? What does he do? Where he works?)

Some can:

  • use future forms for describe their future profession, using compound sentences (I'll be a fireman. I want to be a fireman, because he's brave and strong.


Assessment criteria

Warm-up

On the screen displays pictures with professions. Each student speaks about this profession and describes it (teacher, doctor, fireman, vet, cook, driver, salesman)
