Внеклассное мероприятие в рамках «Неделя английского языка» для 10-го класса

Цель:задействовать учеников в творческих заданиях на смекалку, скорость и знания, проявить интерес к биографии и достижениям В. Шекспира.

Задачи:

• побуждать детей к активному участию в познавательной деяльности;

• пробудить интерес детей к изучению английского языка и жизни Вильяма Шекспира;

• способствовать созданию положительных эмоциональных переживаний и сплочению детей в команде;

• развивать навыки самостоятельной работы и работы в команде;

• развивать интеллектуальные, речевые и творческие способности учеников.

Методы и приёмы обучения:групповая деятельность учеников, игра.

Оборудование:Интерактивная доска, компьютерная презентация «Jeopardy Game»

Ход игры:

Вступительная беседа ведущего: Do you know what “jeopardy game’ is? Jeopardy!

Jeopardy is an American television game show created by Merv Griffin. The show features a quiz competition in which contestants are presented with general knowledge clues in the form of answers, and must phrase their responses in question form. The original daytime version aired on NBC from March 30, 1964 to January 3, 1975, then spawned a weekly nighttime syndicated edition that aired from September 9, 1974 to September 5, 1975, 

Have you ever played it? Can you guess what questions you`re going to answer today? (Ведущий принимает любые ответы ). So, let`s play it and we shall seе if you are right.

Деление на команды.

You have to split into 3 teams.

Объяснение правил игры.

Now we have 3 teams and 4 categories. Each category has 5 questions. The price of the questions varies from 100 to 500 roubles. It depends on the difficulty of the question. Team 1 chooses a category and a question. One person in the team reads the question aloud. Team 1 has 30 seconds to think of the answer. If the answer is correct they win the amount of money. If the answer is incorrect, other teams have a chance to answer and win the money. If the answer is incorrect nobody gets the money.

Throw the dice to see which team starts the game.
