Teacher begins the lesson with the warm-up “Count again”. Teacher gives students one digit. The class must count aloud from that number, in unison. After a few numbers teacher claps the hands and the class stops. Then call a new number and the immediately begins counting from that point. The game becomes more difficult if teacher required to count by twos:T: Twenty

-What was your home task? Let’s check it. Teacher asks some lexis from passed material by help of game with ball.

-Our home task was to review all passed materials . (dialogue between teacher and student) Students pass the ball to their classmates saying the word in Kazakh or asking a question for what another student must reply in English (work in pair)

Following up activities.

Introduction. Teacher asks students to look at the picture and discuss the questions in pairs ex.1 p.56. She asks students to read their statements and questions ex.2p.56.

Asks students to read the text “Schools in England”. Teacher divide the text into some passage according the number of groups. Then asks each group to read, translate and discuss their passage. Then asks one of the member of each group to come to another group and describe own passage. So do all the members of all groups. And find answers to their questions if they are.

Students look at the picture and discuss the questions in pairs. Students write any ideas about primary and secondary schools in England. Then they complete the second table with questions. They compare their questions and answer with others.

Students read the text “Schools in England”. Each group read, translate and discuss their passage. Then one of the member of each group come to another group and describe own passage. So do all the members of all groups. And find answers to their questions if they are.

Fastening of the studied material.

Physical education. Teacher shows physical exercises.

Reading and speaking.

Asks students to look through the text again then to do Ex. 5p.58 Teacher divides questions to groups.

Next ex.6 p.58 asks to do in pairs and fulfill the table. Teacher goes round the class and monitors and helps them. Then asks them to stick their work diagrams to the wall.(Gallery walk)

Teacher asks students to do ex.7 p/58 to write some sentences comparing elementary and secondary schools in Great Britain and in Kazakhstan and then discuss it with his/her partner.

Asks students to read the short text about exams and complete the table. Then to read the information about what young people in England can do at the age of 16-18. And discuss the questions of exercises 8 in groups.
