Tag-questions

(разделительный вопрос, вопрос с «хвостиком»)

Представляет собой специфическое предложение, где в левой части – повествование (утвержденное или отрицательное) , а в правой части «хвостик», который всегда переводится: «Не так ли?» , «Не правда ли?»

Существуют особые случаи образования разделительных вопросов.

В разделительном вопросе с I am в окончании используется aren’t I? :

I’m late, aren’t I?

There может быть подлежащим в разделительных вопросах:
