NEW YORK
- New York is the largest city in the United States of America and one of the largest cities in the world. The city is situated in New York State, at the mouth of the Hudson river.
- There are 5 boroughs in New York: Brooklyn, the Bronx, Manhattan, Queens and Richmond. Only the Bronx is not an island.
- Today New York City is informally called “The Big Apple”. Nobody knows why, but everybody knows it.

- The Empire State Building is the tallest skyscraper in New York. It was erected in 1931. There are 102 floors. On the top floor there is the observatory. You can see the whole city from there. There is also the world’s 9 greatest TV tower erect.
