Characters:

Henny- penny-    a hen

Cocky- locky-      a cock

Ducky- duddles-  a duck

Goosy- poosey-    a goose

Turkey-lurkey-    a turkey

Foxy- woxy-         a fox

A farm yard. Henny- penny is picking up  corn in the farm yard and singing

( песня поется под музыку « Чужаларим»)

HP: Chick- chick chickens, chickens

Oh, my lovely, pretty chickens

If you want to eat some corn

Run and fly to me my chickens

( Suddenly an acorn falls and hits her on the head)

HP: Dear my the sky is falling! I must go and tell the king

( She  sets out to tell the king, and she goes along singing)

The sky is falling down,

The sky is falling down,

I must go & tell the king

the sky is falling down.

So  she meets Cocky- locky  who is watering  the flowers in the garden and singing  ( use jazz)

 CL: The cock crows on the morn  to tell you to rise

        And the boy who rises late  will never be wise

        For early to bed for early to rise

        Will make you healthy,wealthy,and wise !

CL:  Where are you going , Henny- penny?

HP:  I’m going to the king the sky is falling.

CL:  May I go with you?

HP:  Certainly!

(They go along  singing  the song together)

The sky is falling down,

The sky is falling down,

I must go & tell the king

The sky is falling down.

(They  go on going until  they’ll  meet  Ducky- duddles.  Ducky-duddles is fishing on the bank of the river at that moment.)

DD: Where are you going , Henny- penny, Cocky – locky?

 HP & CL: We are going to tell the king the sky is falling!

DD: May I go with you?

HP & CL: Certainly!

( And they all go along together )

On the way to the king they meet Goosy – poosey who is dancing on the lake.

GP: Where are you going Henny- penny, Cocky – locky, Ducky - duddles?

All together: We are going to tell the king the sky is falling!

GP: May I go with you?

All together : Certainly!

( They all go on singing till they meet Turkey- Lurkey who  is writing a poem.

 Turkey- lurkey can recite the poem “ Twinkle, twinkle Little Star ” )

TL: Where are you going Henny- penny, Cocky – locky, Ducky – duddles, Goosey- poosey?

All together: We are going to tell the king the sky is falling!

TL: May I go with you?

All together : Certainly!

( They go along singing the song till they meet Foxy- woxy)

At this moment Foxy- woxy  is  dancing  & singing ( use rock music)

 FW: I’m Fox, cunning fox and I’m hungry

Without my tongue I cannot talk

Without my feet I can not walk

Without my eyes I cannot see

Without my heart I cannot be

Without my teeth I cannot eat

Henny- penny’s  tasty  meat !

When he sees  the birds  he hides. When they come close  the  fox meets them.

FW:  Where are you going Henny- penny, Cocky – locky, Ducky – duddles, Goosey- poosey, Turkey- lurkey?

All together: We are going to tell the king the sky is falling!

 FW: But you are all going the wrong way. Shall I show you the right way?   

 All together: Yes, please !

(They follow Foxy- woxy till they come to a dark hole.)

FW:  Follow me! This is the short way to the king’s palace. You ‘ll soon get there if you follow me. I shall go first and you come after.

(the birds know  something  was  wrong.  They gather together  and   nod  the fox then  turned round and run home.  )
