Learning objectives:

1. Educational:

to practice students to talk about London transport and making a report and express their own opinion on the topic using relevant vocabulary to use grammar Gerund correctly

2. Developing: develop logical and critical thinking, develop intellectual and inquisitive abilities.

3. Educative: form pair, group and teamwork skills.

Ход урока.

I. Organizational moment.

Greeting, sets the goals of the lesson.

II. 1.Starting point.

Warm-up activity.

Focuses on guessing the words.

Checks up the correctness of fulfilling the task.

2. Reading/Speaking /Writing.

Encourages students to divide into 2 groups and read the text «Transport in London».

Encourages students to answer the questions.

Checks up the correctness of fulfilling the task.

3. Grammar: “go on + Gerund”, “give up + Gerund”

Focuses on the formation of Gerund and consolidate the grammar rule.

Reflection/ Feedback.

At the lesson we revised words on the theme and expressed their ideas about Gerund.
