Тема: Environmental protection (8 класс)

Задачи: 1) тренировка грамматического материала по теме: “Conditionals”

  1. Закрепление лексики по теме: «Окружающая среда»

  2. Развитие навыков чтения и говорения

Учебный материал: карточки с заданием, учебник, рабочая тетрадь, проектор


Ход урока:


  1. Оргмомент: T: Today we continue speaking about the problem of environmental protection. The problem of ecology is very important.

  2. Фонзарядка: Look at the blackboard and listen to the poem, repeat and read:

If you want the life be cool,

Like a full of coloured picture,

Don’t forget one golden rule:

Be a real friend of nature!

T: “Be a real friend of nature!” will be the motto of our lesson.

  1. Речевая зарядка: Look at the screen, read, agree or disagree:

    1. We want our planet to be clean.

    2. It’s nice to see dirty seas and lakes.

    3. People must take care of our Earth.

    4. It’s healthy to drink dirty water.

    5. Cars pollute the air.

    6. We should work together to save our environment.

    7. People must leave litter litter in the park.

  1. Активизация лексики: Here is the text. Fill in the necessary words: living things, ecology, pollution, destroyed, litter, environment:

Pollution is very dangerous for ………… We live among ……. and wastes which we have created ourselves. Forests are ………. every year. The problem of ……… is very important. The Earth is our home. We must take care of it.

  1. Повторение грамматики: Complete the sentences using Conditional 2 and 3:

T: Listen to the song and say what we should reduce, reuse and recycle.

  1. Развитие навыков говорения: T: Well, as you see, we are closely connected with our mutual home – planet Earth. Let everybody say what he or she can do to save our planet. Look at the blackboard, you can see a tree. This tree is without leaves. Choose any leaf with different suggestions and put it on the tree.



    1. Don’t leave litter in the forests.

    2. Stop to kill animals and fish.

    3. Put the litter in the bins.

    4. Don’t cut down trees.

    5. Recycle rubbish.

    6. Organize more environmental groups.

    7. Plant more trees and flowers.

    8. Don’t use chemicals and pesticides.

    9. Don’t wash cars in the rivers.

    10. Don’t put waste materials into water and atmosphere.

T: Well, I am sure that you will be real friends of our nature. Take care of our environment and you will be healthy and happy. At the end of our lesson I offer to do the test:
