Тема: «What’s your favourite season?»

Класс: 5

Цели урока: 1) Тренировать и закреплять в речи учащихся

лексические единицы по теме.

2) Совершенствовать навык говорения.

3) Развивать навык чтения с извлечением необходимой

информации.

 Задачи:

  1. Формировать лексические и грамматические навыки.

  2. Практиковать учащихся в говорении и чтении.

  3. Совершенствовать речевые умения с использованием ранее усвоенной лексики.

  4. Развивать фонематический слух.

  5. Развивать умение работать в сотрудничестве и самостоятельно.

Оборудование: доска, учебник, раздаточный материал.

Тип урока: комбинированный

Ход урока:

Ι. Организационный момент, приветствие, речевая разминка.

- Good morning, children! Glad to see you.

- How are you?

- The weather is fine today, isn’t it?

 ΙΙ. Объявление целей урока.

- Today we are going to speak about weather and seasons. You will read the text about seasons.

 ΙΙΙ. Фонетическая разминка.

-What is your favorite season? Complete the poem to make it true and read it aloud.

На доске рифмовка:

                                   Winter, spring, summer, fall

                                    I like….. best of all.

 ΙV. Беседа по теме “Seasons”.

  1. How many seasons are there in a year? What are they?

  2. How many months are there in a year? Can you name them?

  3. What is your favorite season?

  4. What season do you like? Why?

V. Работа с лексическим материалом.

You must continue and finish the logical chain.

VΙ.   Развитие навыков разговорной речи.

Listen to my statements and say if the are statements are right or wrong. If they are wrong correct them.

  1. There are 10 months in a year. (F)

  2. The winter months are December, January and February. (T)

  3. There are 30 days in February. (F)

  4. We can swim in March. (F)

  5. The spring months are June, July and August. (F)

  6. We go to school in September. (T)

  7. We can ski, skate and make snowmen in April. (F)

Look at the papers, children. You can see the text on them. Read the text and make the task after it.

SEASONS

      There are four seasons in a year: spring, summer, autumn and winter.

     December, January and February are winter months. The weather is cold. It usually snows. The days are short and the nights are long. Children like to go skating and skiing. They play snowballs and make a snowman.

       March, April and May are spring months. It is very nice season. The weather is fine it is warm. There are many green trees in the streets in the parks and in the yards. Sometimes it rains but usually the sun shines brightly.

      June, July and August are summer months. It is the hottest season. The days are long and the nights are short. There are many nice flowers in the parks and squares in summer. The pupils do not go to school they have the summer holidays. They can swim in the river and play different games.

     September, October and November are autumn months. The weather is cool. It often rains in autumn. You can see yellow, red, brown leaves in the parks and gardens. It is time for fruit and vegetables.

a). Complete the sentences according to the text.
