Тема: Экскурсия на ферму

Тип урока: урок употребления лексических и грамматических единиц.

Вид урока: традиционный.

Формы работы: индивидуальная, парная, коллективная, групповая.

Цель урока: развитие навыков говорения.

Задачи:

образовательная: обеспечить в ходе урока закрепление изученного материала, создать условия для отработки навыков говорения и письменной речи на основе изученного материала;

развивающая: способствовать развитию памяти, внимания, мышления, воображения у учащихся, создать условия для развития творческой и познавательной активности учащихся в процессе парной, индивидуальной и коллективно й работы;

воспитательная: содействовать развитию интереса учащихся в рамках данной темы.

Прогнозируемый результат: предполагается, что к концу урока учащиеся смогут рассказать о том, что они могут делать на ферме.

Оборудование: компьютер, мел, доска.

Дидактическое оснащение: учебник “English 5/ Pupil’s book” (Л.М.Лапицкая и др.), рабочая тетрадь “Workbook-2,5” Л.М.Лапицкая и др.), наглядный и раздаточный материал.


Ход урока


  1. Организационный момент. Введение в тему урока и определение целей

-Good morning, boys and girls! I’m glad to see you. How are you today? What day is it today? Who is on duty today? Who is absent today?

-Today the topic of our lesson is “Cotswold Farm Park”. We’ll continue speaking about we can do on the farm, revise our vocabulary, the degrees of comparison of adjectives and have fun.

-Let’s play the game “Associations” about a farm? What can we do there?

Key to the task:

A farm is domestic animals, vegetables and flower beds, seeing vegetables, weeding vegetables, watering flower and vegetable beds, feed animals, brush animals, wash animals, etc.

-Now make sentences with these word combinations, please.

-Let’s play the game “Pantomimes”. You’ll show anything from our active vocabulary and the rest of the class will guess it.

-Let’s remember our grammar. Look at the board, please!


Africa is the hottest continent in the world.

Monkeys are more interesting than fish.


-What rule is used in these two sentences? Yes, you are right. It’s the degrees of comparison of adjectives.

  1. Предтекстовый этап. Развитие навыков говорения

-Today the children and the Monsters are in Cotswold Farm Park. Watch the video about this farm park and be ready to answer my questions: 1. What animals did you see in this video?

- Look at the brochure of Cotswold Farm Park. Ex. 1a, p 72-73 PB. Let’s read and answer. What sort of museum is it? – It’s an open-air museum.

-Read the brochure one more time.

-Ex. 1b, p.74 PB. Answer the questions.

-Complete the sentences. Ex. 1c, p. 74 PB.

-Play a memory game. Answer the questions. What can you see on the farm? What can you do on the farm? Work in pairs.

Model: A: I can see pigs on the farm.

B: I can collect eggs in the henhouse.


Развитие навыков говорения

-Ex. 3a, p.74 PB. Speak to your classmate. What would you like to do on the Cotswold farm? Use the model.

Model: I’d like to ride a horse.

-And now we’ll do a very interesting task. Imagine that you’re farmers. Create a brochure of your own farm and then introduce your farm to the class.

-Do the crossword. Ex. 1, p.55 WB.

-Our lesson is almost over!

-Do you like the animals on the farm? What can you say about them? What can you say about the farm? What do you think about feeding the animals? Use the adjectives.
