Teacher shows pictures of Yeti and Nessie.









Teacher shows video about Nessie and Yeti.

Ask the question.

What do you think what’s the theme of our lesson?

Students make predictions about the theme of lesson.



Teacher gives cards. Students should write what do they want to know(before reading)what do they know(after reading)

There are words from the texts . Students should find and circle these words in the texts.

Teacher asks students:

Where do Yeti live? Where do Nessie live? Is it fiction or fact?

Students discuss(work in pair)

Reading. Students read one by one.

Check understanding of the text.







Work in copybooks. Students should find verbs in the past simple and write it.

Students read verbs. They check each other.

(G)Students write questions according the text.(G)(5-6 questions)Students from the first group asks second group, second group asks third group, third group asks first group.

(W)(I) (F)Some students write short mystery story.

Most students make sentences about Yeti.

Cards with words from the texts: Strange creatures, Big fish, watersnake ,Fiction , Lake , Fact, Mystery, Mountains.
