Урок английского языка "Which room do you like?"

Урок построен по таксаномии Блума. При подборе задания учитывается возрастные особенности учащихся. Ведется групповая, индивидуальная, парная работа. После каждого задания ученики оценивают свою работу по критериям (по теме). При групповой работе выявляется лидер группы и у учеников есть возможность высказать свое мнение, спорить, составить диалог. В конце урока пишут рефлексию.

Описание разработки

The aims of the lesson: Listen, speak, read, write and think critically on this theme.

SWBAT :

 - Educational: Presentation of the lesson about flat (houses), rooms, to train new words and discussion an English language

 - Developing: To develop the pupils habits of the oral speech , to develop pupils creative and logical abilities, understanding, reading and writing, grammar and lexical skills.

 - Bringing - up: to bring up love and interest to the subject, to respect each other, to create an English atmosphere in the classroom.

Inter - subject connection: Kazakh, English

The type of the lesson: presentation, integrative

Methods of teaching: group working, training, explanation, demonstration, interaction

The equipment of the lesson: diagrams on the tasks, pictures, posters, computers, interactive board.

   Procedure

Урок английского языка Which room do you like?

I. Org. moment:

 - Greetings with the pupils

 - Dividing to the 3 groups with help of the pictures. (мозаика).

1. a living room

2. a bedroom

3. a kitchen

 - Who will be a captain?

II. Check up:

“Who is quickly?”

III. Warm up:

“10 questions”

What room is it?

IV. Presentation:

 - Phonetic drill:

Teacher:

-Good afternoon, pupils!

-Sit down, please!

-Who is on duty today?

-Who is absent, today?


T: Give to the pupils some pieces of pictures.








T: Give to the pupils posters and pictures.










Teacher asks to asks each other.











T: So, pupils look at the blackboard . Listen and repeat.









T: Now all of you look at the active-board. Listen we use these words:








T: Everybody look at the interactive board.

Pupils should find the sentence which complain the meanings of theirs’ rooms.

Pupils:

-Good afternoon, teacher!

Pupils listen to the teacher and answers to the questions.




P: Match their pictures and find their own group.









P: Match their pictures using past new words and repeat. Then they should find, What room is it? .


-Then they should describe their room using past new words




One pupil of each group stands in front of class and find the word from the picture and short answers to the questions “yes” or “no”.

-There is a sofa in this room

-There is a bed in this room

-There is a cupboard in this room




P: Listen and repeat after the teacher.










P: Listen and repeat after the teacher.










P: Looks at the board. Write the names of the room and describe it.

Pupils put a tick if they have them in the living room.



Pupils must repeat the dance.



P: read and complete the sentences

P: write their ideas about this room using ex.7



Pupils write names of the rooms using the Prepositions.

Pupils work in groups.




Pupils must write about their dream house



-Captains of the groups checks and gives marks.
