Of course, Mother’s Day, All Fools Day, Easter and May Day holidays.
Russian people have Mother’s Day on the 8th of March. It’s a very important holiday of tender, kindness and warm wishes. But in America and Great Britain people celebrate this holiday in May.
This holiday has a long history. Many years ago England’s poor worked as servants for the wealthy. As most jobs were located far from their homes, the servants would live at the houses of their employers. On Mothering Sunday the servants would have the day off and were encouraged to return home and spend the day with their mothers.
Most mothers like to celebrate the day with family reunions. Many people send their mothers a card or a gift.
Sometimes it is difficult to express our inner feelings and we use songs. Let’s listen to our friends with their presentation of this holiday.
