Презентация к уроку английского языка "New York"

As it is called «a Big American Apple». New York is located in the western part of American continent, on the coast of the Atlantic Ocean. To my mind, it’s one of the biggest cities in USA and in the world. For me, I’d like to visit it so much!

New York is  the most populous city in the Unitet States and the most densely populated city in North America, located in the state of New York in New York metropolitan area, which is one of the largest urban conglomeration n the world.

The most fascinating part of the city is Manhattan. You know, New York consists of five boroughs and Manhattan is one of them. People call it the heart of New York.

New York has a lot of places of interest. To my mind the most amasing place is located in the middle of the island. It is called Central Park.

It would be a fantastic experience to visit the Empire State Building! It's really worth seeing! It is the tallest skyscraper in New York but only since September 2001.

Even if you aren't interested in modern art, you shouldn't miss a chance to visit one of the world's most extravagant museums.

It was designed by a famous architect Frank Lloyd Wright. For me that  would be a fantastic experience to visit that architectural masterpiece which has not lost its ability to excite and surprise.

• The Big Apple is ready to welcome you whenever you arrive, day or night. So, the big question is... are you ready? Perhaps that would be great to continue your tour by going to Rockefeller Centre. Its Christmas trees are the largest and the most beautiful in New Yor k.

One of the most famous symbols of the USA is the Statue of Liberty.

France gave the statue to America in 1884 as a symbol of friendship. The Statue is in New York on Liberty Island. It is one of the first things people see when they arrive in New York by sea.
