Warm up:

Icebreaker “Let’s greet each other”


Ask each learners to tell you at least 1 word related to school objects they remember from last lesson. Ask more able learners to make sentences with words (Differentiation)


Lead in: Introduce new words: glue, scissors, and work with construction “What is it? It’s a ….”. ( together and in pairs)


Play the game “I am going to school” They need to take school objects into the bag, except toys.

Tell the poem “Toys”

Firstly- together and then work in pairs.


Give some time for learners to practice question and answer.


Ask learners how people can count; elicit the numbers. Ask leaners to name these numbers.

Distribute the worksheet among learners. Ask them to go through it and make sure they understand everything. They need to match picture with number, which they hear. Change with worksheets and check their result with teacher.






  • I know 8 words about the school objects (you may ask some learners);

  • I can name numbers

  • I know how to ask “What is it?”
