Открытый урок по теме "Fast Food"

Данный урок проводился в гуманитарном 10 классе по теме "Fast Food", на котором было использовано много лексического материала для развития спонтанной реч, коммуникативнфых навыков, креативности, навыков критического мышления, а также целью было закрепить ранее изученный лексико-грамматический материал.

Theme : “Fast Food Addicts. Healthy Lifestyle

Aims: a) practice the vocabulary and revise grammatical structures, question forms , tenses ;

b) motivate students to express their opinions, develop intellectual skills, speaking and communicative skills and creative skills;

c) educate their politeness, tolerance, respectful and correct speech in discussions and interviews.

Technical aids: notebook, tape recorder, CD

Textbook: Solution Intermediate


Plan:

  1. Warming-up -

Aims: Involve students in the atmosphere of English, work on Vocabulary Revision

Organizing students in a circle. Objective : have a conversation on “The Food”

they have eaten today. Grammar Practice of Present Perfect Tense . (2-3 min)

2 A short survey. Which food is healthy or unhealthy?

Aim: Students share their thoughts. One student sums up the facts. (2 min)

3. Speaking : Having a conversation on “ Fast food addicts in the USA“,

Aim: Analyze the problem of obesity in class and 1 student will retell the text (3 min)


  1. Interview with a man taking part in eating fast food. (5 min)

Aim: Involve students in Group Speaking and check up the written questions to the texts and answers, homework to control


  1. Listening – What do people think of their healthy lifestyle ? T 1.27( 3-4 min )

Aim : having comparison of people’s lifestyle, fill in the gaps in the ex., to control listening

  1. Speaking in pairs ( 6 pairs) – 10 min My Healthy Lifestyle

Aim: students prepare own dialogues


  1. Listening, writing and speaking : A visit of a dietician ( individual work

Aim : to get new information about diets, get advice, ask questions . (5 min)


  1. Creative writing (5 min ) – Group work

Aim: develop creative skills. Students make a Special Diet for a Teacher using new information

  1. Group Presentations (3 min)

Aim: to present their creative work


  1. Feedback. (1-2 min) Students summarize their lesson activities.

  2. Home task: text to retell. Marks (2 min)
