ОБОРОТ “ОБЪЕКТНЫЙ ПАДЕЖ С ИНФИНИТИВОМ
(СЛОЖНОЕ ДОПОЛНЕНИЕ)”
Оборот “Объектный падеж с инфинитивом” состоит из существительного в общем падеже или местоимения в объектном (косвенном) падеже и инфинитива глагола, выступающих как единый член предложения – сложное дополнение Complex Object.
1) Оборот Complex Object употребляется с частицей to после глаголов, выражающих желание, потребность:
| to want – хотеть to wish – желать to desire – желать would like – хотелось бы | to like – нравиться to hate– ненавидеть to intend– намереваться |
He wants me to help him. – Он хочет, чтобы я помог ему.
(Ср.: He wants to help me. – Он хочет помочь мне.)
I’d like you to translate this article. – Я бы хотел, чтобы вы перевели эту статью. (Ср.: I’d like to translate this article. – Я хочу перевести эту статью.)
2) После глаголов, выражающих умственную деятельность, мнение, предположение:
| to think – думать to know – знать to understand – понимать to expect – ожидать to find – находить, признавать | to consider – полагать to believe – полагать, считать to suppose – предполагать to prove – доказывать to declare – заявлять |
We believe him to finish the work in time. – Мы полагаем, что он
закончит работу вовремя.
I consider her to be dangerous. – Я считаю, что она опасна.
Nobody expected Ann to marry Henry. – Никто не ожидал, что Энн
выйдет замуж за Генри
3) Оборот Complex Object употребляется БЕЗ частицы to после глаголов физического восприятия:
| to watch – смотреть, наблюдать to hear – слушать to see – видеть | to feel – чувствовать to notice – замечать to observe – наблюдать |
We watched him approach the gate and enter the garden. – Мы
наблюдали, как он приблизился к калитке и зашёл в сад.
После этих глаголов может употребляться причастие настоящего времени Participle I, которое подчёркивает длительность действия и переводится глаголом несовершенного вида. Оборот с инфинитивом говорит о законченности действия и переводится глаголом совершенного вида.
I saw her leave the room. – Я видел, что она вышла из комнаты.
I saw her leaving the room. – Я видел, как она выходила их комнаты.
4) После глаголов, выражающих разрешение, принуждение, побуждение к действию:

She made him drink some milk. – Она заставила его выпить молоко.
They had the man do what they wanted. – Они заставили человека сделать
то, что им надо.
My father let me drive his car. – Мой отец разреши мне поводить машину.
I will have him fix my car. – Я попрошу его починить мою машину.
