Тема: Разговорная тема «My flat».

Цели:

образовательная – способствовать осмыслению социокультурных особенностей страны изучаемого языка, запоминанию лексических единиц по теме «My flat», формированию фонетического образа английского языка.

воспитательная - воспитание интернационализма (уважение чести и достоинства людей всех национальностей), умения работать в команде;

развивающая – содействовать развитию у студентов мыслительных процессов (обобщение информации, рассуждение, действие по образцу);

Тип занятия: комбинированный урок

Информационно-методическое обеспечение: раздаточный материал.

Ход урока:

I. Организационный момент

• Приветствие

Hello, I am glad to see you. Let’s begin our lesson.

II. Актуализация полученных знаний.

• языковая разминка

(Преподаватель предъявляет английские пословицы - студенты должны дать перевод и подобрать русский аналог данной пословице.

• There is no place like home. Нет места, как дом. В гостях хорошо, а дома лучше.

• Those, who live in glass houses, should not throw stones. Живущим в стеклянном доме не следует бросаться камнями. Не указывай на чужой двор пальцем, а то укажут на твой вилами. Других не суди, на себя погляди.

• My house is my castle. Мой дом – моя крепость.

• Don’t wash your dirty linen in public. Не стирай бельё на людях. Не выноси сор из избы.

III. Введение нового материала.

Работа над разговорной темой «My flat».

1. Введение новой лексики (слова написаны на карточке, хором читаем, переводим).

Каждый студент составляет одно предложение с одним из новых слов.

1. работа с текстом «My flat» (Приложение 1)

   • чтение и перевод текста по цепочке,

   • кроссворд с новой лексикой (в парах),

   • упражнение True and false statements,

   • ответить на вопросы по тексту,

   • выделение главного в тексте и составление плана текста.

IV. Закрепление материала.

1. работа с диалогом «My flat» (Приложение 2)

• чтение и перевод диалога,

• составление своего диалога по образцу,

• прослушивание 1-2 диалогов.

1. работа с опорной карточкой (у каждого студента есть универсальная карточка – каждый должен сделать её индивидуально для себя). Один из студентов делает задание на доске. Карточку можно использовать как план для устного ответа по теме на следующем занятии. (Приложение 3)

3. работа в микрогруппах. Все студенты группы делятся на две команды. Одна из команд выступает за преимущество частных домов над квартирными домами, другая наоборот. Каждая из команд получает конверт, в котором есть набор предложений, они должны выбрать и прочитать только те предложения, которые поддерживают их точку зрения. (Приложение 4)

V. Аудирование.

• Предъявление текста для прослушивания. (Приложение 5)

• Проверка понимания текста с помощью теста множественного выбора. Взаимопроверка.

VI. Подведение итогов.

• Выставление оценок

• Обобщение материала.

VII. Домашнее задание.

Подготовить монологическое высказывание по теме «My flat or my house» с использованием опорной карты.

My flat

We live in Voronezh. We live in Green Street. Our flat is in a modern many-storeyed building. We live on the fifth floor and use a lift.

There are four rooms in our flat: a living-room, two bedrooms – for our parents and for us and a study. We also have a kitchen, a bathroom and a toilet.

There is a small table, a couple of armchairs, divan and a standard lamp in the living-room. At the opposite wall there is a piano and TV set to the left of the piano. There is also a cupboard and several bookshelves. Carpets on the walls make our living-room very cosy.

The study is like a library. There is a writing table with a lamp on it and many shelves filled with books. Our father works in the study everyday and we also come there to read books.

In the kitchen we have a gas-stove, a fridge, a sink, a cupboard and a table with chairs, of course.

As our flat is modern, we have all modern conveniences at home: electricity, gas, running water, central heating, shute and telephone.

There are flower pots on the tables, bookshelves and window-sills and that makes our flat green and cosy. Home - sweet home!

• Some people live in houses, others have a flat. Where do you live?

• I live in a new nine-storey block of flats in Popov street.

• Is your flat large or small?

• Our flat is not big. We occupy two rooms. More than that we have a kitchen, a bathroom, a lavatory, a small hall and a balcony.

• Is the flat cosy?

• Yes, my mum likes pictures, carpets and pot flowers – they make it very cosy. It is better to see once, than hundred times to hear. I would like to invite you to my flat. Come for tea tomorrow.

• Well, I will come by all means. Thank you.

• Not at all. See you tomorrow.

My Flat.

I have the flat with my parents and my brother. We have a four-room flat on the first floor. It is very comfortable. It has all modern conveniences, such as heating, electricity, cold and hot water and a telephone. There are four rooms in our flat: a living room, my parents’ bedroom, a study and our bedroom. We have also a kitchen, a bathroom, a lavatory, small entrance hall and two balconies.

I would like to tell you about our living room. There is a bookcase, a large table, a small magazine table, a sofa, two arm-chairs, a TV set and a computer in the room. There is a carpet on the floor and the curtains on the window. There are four pictures on the wall. The room is cosy. In evenings all members of our family gather together. We watch TV, speak and drink tea.
