Моя любимая книга

Урок познакомит учащихся с произведениями мировой литературы, биографиями писателей, позволит систематизировать знания по данной теме.

Описание разработки

Цель урока:

систематизация знаний учащихся по теме «Моя любимая книга»

Задачи урока:

1. развивать навыки устной речи

2. ознакомить с произведениями мировой литературы, биографиями писателей

3. формировать и развивать грамматические навыки по теме «Типы вопросов»

4. воспитывать умение работать в парах, группах, самостоятельно

5. прививать любовь и интерес к иностранному языку.

Ход урока.

I. Орг. момент.

Приветствие. Речевая зарядка

Good morning, children! I’m glad to see you! How are you? What day of the week is today? Who is absent? Is everybody ready for the lesson?

II. Основная часть.

1. Объявление темы и плана урока. We continue to study the topic «My favourite book»

The aim of our lesson is to read, write, listen, tell.

Today we’ll speak about books. Books play an important role in our life because they are our teachers and advisers.

They teach us how to take the next step when we’re in a difficult situation.

They help to shape our life. We’ll discuss the quotations of famous people about books and reading, discuss the importance of reading in our life and the future of printed books and tell the class about our favourite books and authors.

Now answer my questions which genre it is:

1. The details of a life story of a real person, told by someone else. (biography)

2. A story about a person who journeys to distant places to accomplish something. (adventure)

3. A story similar to adventure, but it usually takes a risky turn, which leads to desperate situations (explosions, fight scenes, chase etc.). (action)

4. A story taking place in the American Old West. It portrays gunfighters, cowboys. (western)

5. A story about technology or the future. It usually includes travel through space, alien life-forms, other universes. (science fiction)

6. A story about magic and supernatural forces, rather than technology. (fantasy)

7. A story that tell about a series of funny or comical events, intended to make the audience laugh. (comedy)

8. A story that is told to deliberately scare or frighten the audience, through suspense, violence or shock. (horror)

9. A story that re-tells events rather than create them. Usually it is about historic events. (documentary)

A story about character’s relationships, its development, rather than adventures. (romance)

Many famous people spoke about books and reading in their books. Many of their words became world-known sayings.

Here are what they said. Let’s discuss their opinions. Do you agree with them? Why? Why not?

Цель урока: систематизация знаний учащихся по теме « Моя любимая книга»

Задачи урока:

  1. развивать навыки устной речи

Now look at the blackboard. Here are the names of some famous British writers whose portraits are exhibited in the National Portrait Gallery.

Now I’d like you to tell the class about your favourite book and its writer. Show your project to the class.










Relaxing. I guess you are a bit tired. Let’s have a short rest.

So let’s come back to our work. Now we’ll work with grammar.

Look at the blackboard and repeat the types of questions.

Now listen to the dialogue . Say what the boys are going to do. Listen again. Follow in the book. Ex.2 p.149. Answer the questions after the text.


Your next task is to make all types of questions about the following sentence.

The parrot is picking flowers.

Now I give you a piece of paper with sentences on it. Look through the sentences and make all types of questions.

Your work was very well . I’m sure you have known a lot about writers, their books, their thoughts and lives. Open your dairies and write down your hometask. Your hometask will be p. ex. Is task clear? Now look at the blackboard. You see one tree. You have apples. If you think we achieved the aim of our today’s lesson put your apples over the tree. If you don’t think so put your balls below it. Your marks are… The lesson is over. Good bye.
