Узнали все впервые, что груша – это pear.
Масло нужно всем ребятам. Масло по-английски – butter.
Без соли борщ не лезет в рот. Соль по-английски – просто salt.
Ведро воды не принесете? Вода, водичка будет – water.
Слива тут и слива – там. Слива по-английски – plum.
Виноград мы съели весь. Виноград – иначе grape.

У учащихся на столе лежат листки с заданием: 3 буква в слове “fish”, 2 буква в слове “carrot”, 5 буква в слове “lemon”, 6 буква в слове “роrridge”, 2 буква в слове “sweets”, 2 буква в слове “milk”, 1 буква в слове “coffee”, 1 буква в слове “honey”. Ученики складывают буквы и у них получается слова “sandwich” (8 слайд)
Teacher: Ребята, а вы знаете почему такой бутерброд называют именно так- сэндвич? Конечно, нет. Послушайте немного из истории происхождения этого слова. В 18 веке жил граф Сэндвичский. Он любил играть в карты на деньги. Он мог играть круглосуточно. Слуги приносили ему еду- мясо и хлеб. Граф не хотел останавливать игру для того чтобы поесть , и между двумя кусочками хлеба клал мясо. Таким образом он мог играть не останавливаясь. И именно от имени этого человека произошло слова «sandwich». (9 слайд)
