Цель (прогнозируемый результат): предполагается, что к окончанию занятия учащиеся
будут знать типичные фразы речевого этикета (официант и посетитель) при заказе еды в кафе
смогут составить диалог по образцу
будут уметь применять полученные знания на практике в собственных диалогах.
Задачи личностного развития:
создать условия для развития умений учащихся высказывать свою точку зрения на английском языке;
создать условия для развития умений учащихся работать в команде;
способствовать развитию умений использовать в устной речи информацию, полученную в ходе восприятия иноязычной речи на слух;
способствовать формированию навыков планировать свое коммуникативное поведение;
предоставить возможность для формирования представлений о правилах поведения в кафе.
Методы: коммуникативный, интерактивный, проблемный
Оборудование: компьютер, интерактивная доска, мультимедийный проектор, раздаточный материал, видеозапись.

| T: Are you hungry? Let’s go to the restaurant. We’ll divide into groups of four.
T: Study the menu. Match the food picture cards with the names of the dishes. Do you know all the dishes now?
T: Write down four things you want to eat (soup, starter, main course and dessert). Don’t show this to the others. Now toss the food cards and deal them out. (every person gets 4 cards) Your task will be to collect the things you want to eat.
T: Player 1 asks any other player “I’d like … , please”. If the player has the card, he must give it saying “Certainly, sir/madam. Here you are”. If not, he should say “Sorry, sir/madam. It’s off”. Then it’s the next player’s turn. The first player to get the menu he wants is the winner.
T: Sometimes when people go to the restaurant or cafe they pay together. Do you understand this phrase? Can you think of the situations when people pay together?
T: Watch the video, tick on the menu what people order (ex.1).
T: Watch the video once again and complete the dialogue with the words below (ex.2).
T: Now change your cards, let`s check. T: Work in pairs. Practise reading the dialogue.
T: Let our eyes have a rest UP, DOWN, RIGHT, LEFT, CLOSE OUR EYES, NOD YOUR HEAD. – 2 times T: Work in groups of three. Prepare a dialogue like the dialogue in the video. Use the menu and the phrases from the video. T: Students A and B: You are customers. Order food and a drink from the menu in ex. 2. Student C: You work in the café.
