Reported speech ( косвенная речь) передает точное содержание чьего-то высказывания, но не точные слова.

1. Если глагол, вводящий косвенную речь употребляется в Present Simple, то в придаточном изъяснительном предложении форма грамматического времени не меняется: Mum says: “I have lost my keys”. Mum says that she has lost her keys.
