урока английского языка в 6 кл.

( шестой раздел, третья четверть)

КЛАСС: 6 «Б»


ТЕМА: «Здоровье и еда»


ТИП УРОКА : урок закрепления и обобщения знаний



ЦЕЛЬ УРОКА: развитие речевых компетенций в рамках заданной темы.


ЗАДАЧИ:


1) Общеобразовательная: обобщение и закрепление лексического и грамматического материала по теме


2) Развивающая: создание условий для развития у учащихся навыков работы в нужном темпе, умений владеть собой, развитие логического мышления и памяти


3) Воспитательная: создание условий для воспитания у учащихся этикета питания, умения правильно питаться, уметь различать здоровую пищу от нездоровой



ОБОРУДОВАНИЕ: учебник, раздаточный материал, аудиозапись, мультимедийный экран.



1.Организационный момент.



Учитель:

Good morning, pupils. Sit down, please. I’m happy to see you.

How are you?

I’m happy that you are all fine.

And what about the weather?

What is the weather like today?

Are you always fine when the weather is fine?

And is it easier to be fine when the weather is nice and pleasant?

And how do you feel when it’s rainy and cold?

OK. So you always try to be fine. That’s fantastic!

Now, please, look at the blackboard and try to read the theme of our lesson.

That’s right, it is HEALTH AND FOOD. Today we are going to discuss the problems of food and health in our life.

Look at the plan of our lesson, please. (Слайд №2).

Today we’ll have some phonetic exercises, then we’ll work with words, then we’ll work with grammar and have a little rest, and then we’ll discuss some facts and other information you know about health and food in our life, we’ll read and listen a dialogue.


So, at the end of the lesson we’ll see who is the best in grammar, who knows the words best of all, who’s got the best memory, and of course you’ll be able to see if you lead a healthy life and if you eat healthy food.

2.Фонетическая зарядка.

- Let’s practice the English sounds. Listen to the speaker and repeat after him.

3. Речевая разминка.


Учитель:

- Let’s continue warming up our vocabulary. Listen to me and try to complete some sentences using necessary words.

Вкуснотища – Very good! Пищу называют – food.

Это вовсе не каприз, сыр мы называем – cheese.

Мясо жарится, шкварчит, мясо по-английски – meat.

Масло нужно всем ребятам. Масло по-английски – butter.

Без соли борщ не лезет в рот. Соль по-английски – просто salt.

Ведро воды не принесете? Вода, водичка будет – water.

Слива тут и слива – там. Слива по-английски – plum.

Виноград мы съели весь. Виноград – иначе grape.


4.Развитие навыков устной речи .



Учитель:

And now let’s revise the words on the topic, because we’ll need them for our discussion.

TASK1.

You must look at the cards and try to find the odd one out in every line.Here you are.

CARDS Find the odd one out and explain your choice:

Butter – milk – fruit

Apple – sweet – chocolate

Tea – coffee – jam

Egg – porridge – juice

Tasty – salty – food

Potato – carrot – hamburgers

Vegetable – fruit – bread

Breakfast – lunch – soup

That’s right, thank you.


TASK 2.


Now let’s play a little. All of you know “The Alphabet Game”, and today it will be connected with the theme of our lesson “Health And Food”.

We’ll have two teams, try to answer quickly and correctly. Let’s start:


A is a round fruit; it can be red, yellow or green (an apple).

B is a long yellow fruit; it is very sweet; monkeys like it (a banana).

C is a long orange vegetable; you can use it as a nose for a snowman (a carrot).

D is a general word for coffee, tea, juice, etc.(drinks).

E – we get them from hens (eggs).

F is cats’ favourite food, you can find it in the lake or in the sea (fish).

G is something you can drink milk or juice from (a glass).

H is very tasty and sweet; bears like it very much (honey).

I is very sweet and cold; we make it from milk (ice cream).

J is a drink made from fruit or vegetables (juice).

K is a place where you can cook food (a kitchen).

L is a yellow fruit which is not sweet at all; it is very sour; you can drink tea with it(a

lemon).

M – breakfast, lunch, dinner, supper are …; we have four … a day (meals).

N is a small hard fruit; it grows on some trees (a nut).

O can be a fruit and it can be colour too (orange).

P is an orange vegetable; it is a symbol of Halloween (a pumpkin).

Q – you mustn’t eat …, it is not healthy (quickly).

R is a kind of cereal which is very popular in China and Japan (rice).

S is the last meal of the day (supper).

T is a hot drink; we drink it with sugar and lemon (tea).

U means very good; that can help you to get something you want (useful).

V – some people think that tomatoes are … , but they are not; they are fruit (vegetables).

W is something you cannot live without (water).

X is a holiday when you eat roast turkey with salad, pie (X-mas).

Y is the colour of some fruit and vegetables (yellow).

Z – if you don’t work hard you can get a … result (zero).


5. Развитие навыков письменной речи.




TASK 3


Now we’ll have another interesting game – “word search”. Look at the screen and try to find words on the topic “Food”. You’ll have four minutes to write them down in your exercise books.

OK. Are you tired? Let’s have some rest. First let’s give rest to our eyes:


Look at your nose, please.

Now look at the skyline.

Again at your nose - at the skyline.


Now draw letter S with your eyes. Say while drawing: “Wealth is nothing without health”.


Now draw letter O, saying “Health is above wealth”.

Thank you.

Thanks a lot; we are cheerful and fresh again.



6. Развитие навыков говорения.



TASK 4.

Now, look at the screen, please. You can see two questions there. Your task is to ask your classmates the next:

1. How often do you eat fresh vegetables and fruit? (Answers: every day, often, seldom).

2. What are your favourite drinks: milk and juice or lemonade and coca-cola?

(Дети ходят по классу, задают др.др. эти вопросы и потом рассказывают по образцу)

Model: I eat fresh vegetables and fruit every day, but my friend eats them seldom.



7. Развитие навыков аудирования.



TASK 5.

OK. And let us know what Nick, Ann, Yan and Brenda prefer to eat and drink.

  • What food do the children like?

  • Is it healthy or not?

  • What do they like to drink?

  • Is lemonade (orange juice) healthy?



8. Рефлексия.

And now you have only two minutes to discuss in groups (four pupils) and write on the stickers the main rules of “health and food”. When you are ready put your variant on the black board.

(Variants: Eat fresh food; Eat a lot of vegetables and fruit; Don’t eat much sweets and ice cream; Drink juice and milk, not coca-cola, etc.). Well done! Thank you!



You know a lot about food and health now. And I hope that our lesson helped you to think about this problem one more time and to understand that eating healthy food is very important.

Look at the phrases on the blackboard, please, and tell me how you worked at the lesson and how the teacher worked at the lesson:

Your home task:

is to write a mini-composition about “Food and health in your life” or

to write a healthy menu for a day (four meals) or
