Описание разработки

Цель урока:

создать содержательные и организационные условия для самостоятельного применения учащимися комплекса знаний и способов деятельности.

Образовательная: содействовать формированию навыков устной речи.

Воспитательная: содействовать формированию коммуникативных навыков и развитию активности на уроке.

Развивающая: содействовать развитию речевой активности, памяти, образного мышления, познавательного интереса, рефлексии деятельности.

Познавательный аспект: познакомить с известными путешественниками;

Развивающий аспект: развитие оперативной памяти, способности к сравнению, развитие дедуктивного мышления, развитие способности к функционально- адекватному восприятию грамматических структур и их использование;

Задачи:

отработать лексику по теме “Путешествие”, “Транспорт”, “Глаголы действия”;

закрепить употребление глагольной временной формы “Present Simple”; Present Perfect

отрабатывать навыки говорения, аудирования, письма.

Познакомить учащихся со знаменитыми путешественниками.

Оборудование урока:

классная доска;

проектор и экран;

наглядные материалы:

слайды (страны/достопримечательности, транспорт);

вещи в дорогу (сумка, паспорт, деньги, билеты, одежда, аптечка)

текст физ.минутки;

раздаточный материал:

бланки лексических заданий;

конверты для групповой работы;

Ход урока.

I. этап.

1. Организационный момент.

T: Good afternoon, my dear friends! Nice to see you again!

T: Sit down, please! How are you today?

T: I am glad you are fine! Let’s start our English lesson.

2. Введение в тему.

T: What’s the weather like today?

T: That’s right. When people prefer to travel?

P1: People usually travel in summer.

T: At this lesson we are going to repeat everything we have learnt about explorers and their discoveries and get acquainted with some well-known travelers, work with words, grammar, and do different activities that you have prepared in groups for us. But now let’s start with warming up.

Тема: “ Famous travelers

I. этап

1. Организационный момент.

II этап

    1. Активизация ЛЕ:

Страны

T: Let’s start with the countries. What countries do you know?

P1P2: P3: (учащиеся называют известные им страны)

T: Great, you know so many countries. Look at the board, please. Where can you see and visit these things? (Работа со слайдами)

P1P2: P3: (учащиеся смотрят на слайды и проговаривают фразы)

Вещи в дорогу

T: Fine. And what things should we take? Work in groups of four. There are a lot of different things on the desks, choose only those you need and call them.

P1P2: P3: (учащиеся в группах подходят к столам, на которых разложены различные предметы, их задача: отобрать необходимые для путешествия вещи, сложить их в дорожные сумки и прокомментировать свой выбор)

T: Well done! Take your seats.

T: And how can we travel?

III этап

    1. Групповая работа

T: Let’s work in groups. Each group has an envelop. You can see some pictures (a flag and sightseeing) there. Match the countries the flags and their sightseeing

P1: P2: P3: (учащиеся работают в группах, в конверте каждой группы флаг определенной страны и 2-3 достопримечательности, задача каждой группы соединить страны их флаги и достопримечательности)

5.T: Now we talk about famous travellers (следующая группа учащихся рассказывает о знаменитых путешественниках).



The Norwegian polar explorer was the first person to reach the South Pole in 1911.He was also a famous explorer of Antarctica. He spent there more than a year conducting explorations. He wrote quite a number of books and was an outstanding public figure.

This Russian professional traveler is the only person in the world who has conquered all three poler the South the North and the pole of height. He reached the the South Pole alone on skies on the 5th of January in 1996 and ten days later he conquered the highest peak in Antarctica- massive Winson.

In the period of the ten years since 1986 to1996 he conducted 36 sport and scientific expeditions took part in international ski and bike competitions. In 1992 he conducted the highest mountain peak Everest. Besides he made the world journey on yachts “ Karaana” and “Formoza”.

This merchant was the first Russian to reach India in the 15th century. He described nature of this country its trade customs and beliefs. He also described the routes which led to Persia and India. What is the name of this courageous explorer?

This is a famous Italian traveler and author who was the first Europian to explore the Far East. He lived in the 13th – 14th centuries and his book was the most famous travel book in history. For long time it was the only source in Europe for information on the geography and life of the Far East. His book became the basis for some of the first accurate maps of Asia made in Europe. It helped to inspire an interest in the East in Christopher Columbus who tried to reach the Far East by sailing west from Europe. ( Marco Polo)



In the sixteenth century, Ferdinand Magellan led the first expedition to sail around the world.

As a young Portuguese noble, he served the king of Portugal,. After he was dismissed from service to the king of Portugal, he offered to serve the future Emperor Charles V of Spain.

On September 20,1519, Magellan set sail from Spain with five ships. More than a year later, one of these ships was exploring the topography of South America in search of a water route across the continent. This ship sank, but the remaining four ships searched along the southern peninsula of South America.

Finally they found the passage they sought near a latitude of 50 degrees S. Magellan named this passage the Strait of All Saints, but today we know it as the Strait of Magellan.

.  In 1497 the Portuguese government sent him at the head of a fleet of four ships in search of a sea route around Africa to India .
