Welcome to our tour of Krasnoyarsk. Our route will consist of Stolby National Park, Roev Ruchey Zoo, Bobrovy Log, Railway Station Square, Organ Hall, Central Park, Enisey River, Krasnoyarsk Big-Ben, Krasnoyarsk Regional Local Lore Museum, Triumphal Arch, Krasnoyarsk Eiffel Tower, Paraskeva Pyatnitsa Chapel.
Our tour begins with Stolby National Park. It is a state nature reserve, located in the spurs of the Eastern Sayan Mountains, on the right bank of the Yenisei River. Local rocks are called pillars because of their shape. They are high - from 60 to 600 meters - and narrow. According to scientists, the pillars were formed due to the powerful pressure of magma, which could not break through to the surface of the earth. And their bizarre outlines formed due to the influence of the wind of atmospheric precipitation.
Near the National Park is the Zoo Roev stream. According to the collection of animals, the Krasnoyarsk park of flora and fauna is second only to the Moscow zoo. There is a separate huge water aquarium, and the only penguinarium beyond the Urals, and aviaries with polar bears ... It will take a whole day to see all the inhabitants of the "Roeva brook"!
Driving along the Yenisei, we see on the right side the Bobrovy Log. The park covers an area of 80 hectares and can simultaneously accommodate up to 10 thousand visitors. Convenient location, picturesque landscapes, modern infrastructure for outdoor activities and sports attract tourists all year round. In the cold season, all conditions for lovers of winter sports are here - a ski resort and an ice skating rink, and in summer for entertainment and comfortable outdoor recreation - a beach complex, horseback riding tours, cable car lifts, extreme attractions, children's clubs, picnic arbors , cafes and restaurants
Now we are passing along the fourth bridge across the Yenisei and apparently the Railway station. The station square has become the decoration of Krasnoyarsk. Today it is the only station square in Russia, decorated with heraldic symbols. There are "singing fountains" with original lighting. Electronic control system allows you to vary the melodies and lighting effects.
We pass along the street of Karl Marx. Please look at the right, there is Red Square. And here is the Organ Hall. The Organ Hall simultaneously serves as an active Catholic Church of the Transfiguration of the Lord and a concert hall, combining spiritual and secular functions. What is a wonderful example of symbiosis of cultures, which the Krasnoyarsk people have the right to be proud of. It is very popular here to come weddings. Not only for stained glass windows and lancet towers, but for the sake of a kind, almost magical atmosphere, and of course, for the sake of organ music.
And here we see the Central Park. It is a park of culture and recreation. There are various attractions. In 1936 the first Russian children's railway was opened. In winter, a skating rink and skating hire are available on the dance floor. A great place to relax with your family.
Now we will go down to the embankment of the Yenisei. The perfect place for walks, meetings and visits. The embankment is equipped with benches, urns, lawns and kiosks. In the summer time - the best place to relax.
Let's head towards the Communal Bridge. Look to the right, these are the fountains of the "River of Siberia", and on the right side of the Theater Square. Crossing the bridge to the other side, we see Big Ben. This is one of the most important towers of Krasnoyarsk. It is a huge tower with a clock, most reminiscent of the one that is located in London. Krasnoyarsk is the second city after Moscow, in which a real clock tower was erected.
Now we are going to the Museum of Local Lore. Krasnoyarsk Regional Museum is one of the oldest museums in Siberia and Russia. He played an important role in the development of the cultural potential of the Krasnoyarsk Territory. His collection formed the basis for the creation of new cultural facilities.
We continue to move along the Yenisei. Pay attention to the left, this is the Krasnoyarsk Art Museum named after V.I. Surikov, and on the right side of the Museum Center "Square of Peace." So we approached the Arc de Triomphe in honor of the 375th anniversary of Krasnoyarsk. It was built in honor of the Siberians, who perished during the Great Patriotic War. It was built in a few months in 2003 to an important date of the 375th anniversary of Krasnoyarsk.
And now we have a long way to go to the Krasnoyarsk Eiffel Tower. The Krasnoyarsk Eiffel Tower is a small copy of the Parisian Eiffel Tower, erected at a scale of 1:21 with exact proportions. The total height of the Eiffel Tower is 14 m 80 cm - almost five-story house. The structure was erected in 2007 from the highest quality metal. The initiator of the creation of a small copy of the Eiffel Tower was the owner of a cozy French restaurant, opposite which today the local "Parisian" towers.
And our excursion will end with a beautiful view of the city from the Chapel. This is an Orthodox chapel, one of the symbols of the city of Krasnoyarsk. It is located on the top of the Karaulnaya Mountain. The chapel of Paraskeva Pyatnitsa is depicted on the front side of a 10-ruble note in 1997. On the same banknote there is a watermark in the form of a silhouette of the Krasnoyarsk chapel.
I hope you enjoyed our tour. Thank you for your attention and enjoy your holiday in Krasnoyarsk.
