Moscow is the biggest city and the capital of Russia. This city is very popular among the visitors. It has lots of beautiful places and world-famous sights.

Red square is considered to be the heart of Moscow. If you go to this square, you will be able to see the most significant buildings in the capital: the Kremlin, the State History Museum, Lenin's Mausoleum and Saint Basil’s Cathedral.

The Kremlin is the biggest active fortress in Europe. Originally there were eighteen Kremlin towers, but their number increased to twenty in the 17^th century. The most remarkable of them is the Spasskaja Tower.

If you go to Red square, you can also see Lenin’s Mausoleum. It’s the place where Vladimir Lenin was embalmed. He was the legendary Russian revolutionary.

The State History Museum is another significant building in Moscow. It was founded in 1872. This museum has the country’s largest coin collection, the manuscripts and artworks of the 6^th century.

Now we will tell you about Saint Basil’s Cathedral. It was built in the 16^th century. The building is shaped like the flame of a bonfire rising into the sky.

The other beautiful landmark in Saint Petersburg is Saint Isaac’s Cathedral. It was built in the 19^th century. Saint Isaac’s Cathedral was originally the city's main church and the largest cathedral in Russia.

There is also the State Opera and Ballet Theatre in Novosibirsk. The building of this theatre was completed in 1944. Today the visitors can watch the ballet performances, operas and other entertainment events there.

You can also visit Lenin Square in Novosibirsk. Here you can find the statue of Vladimir Lenin. It’s one of the largest Lenin statues in Russia.

Yekaterinburg is the fourth largest city in Russia. It was founded in 1723. This city has lots of historic and architectural sights.

In this city you can also find the State Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre. It was founded in 1912. The building itself is as impressive as the performances it hosts.

You can also visit Church upon the Blood in Yekaterinburg. The building of this church was completed in 2003. Church upon the Blood is decorated with gold-topped domes and glazed tiles.
