His grandparents live there.

And yesterday we got a letter from him.

In this letter Frank described every day of his week.

The first day which Frank described in his letter was Monday.

Monday is translated as “Понедельник”.

Now let’s start reading the letter.

“Hello, my dear friends!

How are you? I’m very well. I didn’t write you earlier because I was very busy. But I could finally find some time to write you. In this letter I’ll tell you how I spent every day of the week.

And I’ll start with Monday. On Monday I arrived in New York. My grandparents met me at the airport and we went straight to the restaurant. We wanted to eat something delicious. After that we went to the water park and spent 4 hours there. When we returned home, I was really tired!”

The following day which Frank described in his letter was Tuesday.

Tuesday is translated as “Вторник”.

“On Tuesday my grandparents and I went sightseeing. We saw the Empire State Building. It’s the highest building in New York. We also saw the Statue of Liberty. It’s the sculpture of a woman symbolizing freedom. She holds a torch above her head with her right hand. Boys, I was really impressed because New York has lots of beautiful buildings and picturesque places.”

The following day which Frank described in his letter was Wednesday.

Wednesday is translated as “Среда”.

“On Wednesday my grandparents took me to the museum. There were pictures of some famous artists and lots of different sculptures. In the evening the three of us went to the cinema. We watched the comedy. I forgot its name, but it was really funny. After the cinema we went to the cafe. We ate pizza there. Then we returned home.”

After that Frank described how he had spent Thursday.

Thursday is translated as “Четверг”.

“On Thursday my grandparents and I went to the theatre. It was full of people. We were lucky to find three empty seats. In the evening the three of us went to the concert of one famous singer. It was amazing. After the concert we went home.”

The following day which Frank described in his letter was Friday.

Friday is translated as “Пятница”.

“On Friday we went to the football match. I usually watch football on TV, but the feelings were not the same! When you watch this game at the stadium, you can see all the players, talk to other fans, watch the crowd and so on. After the game my grandparents and I went to the swimming pool. We spent 2 hours there.”

After that Frank described how he had spent Saturday.

Saturday is translated as “Суббота”.

“On Saturday my grandparents took me to the zoo. There were lots of beautiful animals. We saw the lion, the giraffe, the zebra and so on. In the evening the three of us went to the circus. We saw the acrobats, the jugglers, the magicians and other artists who perform stunts.”

And the last day which Frank described in his letter was Sunday.

Sunday is translated as “Воскресенье”.

“On Sunday we went to the birthday party. It was the birthday of my grandmother’s best friend. I thought that the party would be boring, but it wasn’t! There were lots of kids of my age. We played different games, listened to music, danced and did many other interesting things.
