Урок английского языка "Праздник алфавита"

Цель деятельности педагога: создать условия для закрепления учащимися графического отображения букв английского алфавита; конкретизировать знания о звуках и буквах; развивать орфографическую зоркость, самостоятельный творческий опыт учащихся; формировать умения самостоятельно конструировать свои знания.

Сценарий уроков

Teacher. Good afternoon, dear friends! I am very glad to see you at our ABC Party. You have been studying English for 2 months. You have learnt a lot. You have already learnt the English alphabet. Today we’ll have funny competitions. You are divided into three teams. I will offer you different tasks and you will fulfill them. Try to be the first and correct.

First of all I’d like to introduce our judges: …

Our party is called “АBC Party” that’s why the first task is to put the English alphabet together.

I. Put the English alphabet together.

Командам выдается разрезной английский алфавит.

II. The second task is to write letters which are missed in my alphabet.

Командам показывают алфавит с пропущенными буквами и выдаются листочки, на которых участники должны правильно написать отсутствующие буквы.

III. The next task is to put five capital letters in the alphabetic order.

Командам показываются разные группы из 5 прописных букв, они должны написать их на листочках в алфавитном порядке.

SBZEJ – BEJSZ;

QFRWA – AFQRW и т. д.

Teacher. I see that you know capital letters very well. Let’s sing the song “ABC”.

Подведение первых итогов.

Teacher. I’d like to see how you know small letters.

IV. I give you pairs of letters. But there is one problem: capital letters and small letters are mixed. You should match capital and small letters.

Командам выдаются одинаковые буквенные ряды с перепутанными буквами. Участники должны правильно расположить буквы, написав их на отдельных листочках.

V. Three members from every team take part in the next competition.

– The next task is the following. I will show words to you and you should spell the word. You can’t read yet, but you know all the letters and you can name all the letters of the word.

– Spell the word.

Учитель по очереди показывает слова, написанные строчными буквами, а участники произносят слова по буквам.

VI. Now I’ll show words to you. All the letters are capital. Your task is to find small letters and put them together to make a word.

– Write the words in small letters.

У каждой команды имеется полотно с кармашками для букв и английский разрезной алфавит строчных букв. Учитель показывает слово, написанное прописными буквами, а команды должны на наборном полотне выставить это слово строчными буквами.

VII. Your task is the following. You should colour only those rows where words are written in an alphabetic order.

– Colour the rows.

VIII. Now I will give nice pictures to you. You should help the animals to find the way to the house. Pay attention to the first letters only.

– Find the way from the animals to the house.

IX. I’ll give you trees with letters. Your task is to find 3 letters and underline them which are before letters e, g, m, p, r, s, t in the English alphabet.

Учитель показывает карточки с изображением звуков, дети поднимают карточки с буквами, которые обозначают эти звуки.

XI. Our last competition is quite interesting. You can see three apple trees on the blackboard. Now you should collect all the apples and match letters and sounds.

– Sounds – letters (apples).

Для каждой команды предлагается своя «яблоня с яблоками». Все «яблоки» из цветной бумаги и разного цвета. На одних «яблоках» написаны буквы, на других – звуки. «Яблоки» вставлены в специальные кармашки на «яблонях». Задача команд – собрать «яблоки» со своих «яблонь» и выставить у себя на наборном полотне парами: буква и звук.
