Тип урока: комбинированный

Тема: Module 2b. Shopping time

Цели:

Образовательные: совершенствовать лексические навыки по теме «Shopping», активизировать навыки устной речи по теме «Shopping», развивать навык аудирования. Воспитывать культуру поведения при фронтальной работе, групповой работе. Поддерживать интерес к изучению английского языка

Формировать УУД:

- ЛичностныеУУД: самостоятельность, самоорганизация, ценностное отношение к совместной познавательной деятельности, самооценка.

- Регулятивные УУД: целеполагание, прогнозирование.

- Коммуникативные УУД: учебное сотрудничество; построение речевых высказываний; умение слушать и слышать.

- Познавательные УУД: осмысление прочитанного и услышанного, Выполнять аналитические, синтезирующие, сравнительные, классификационные операции, формулировать причинно-следственные связи, делать выводы, обобщения.

Teacher: Good morning pupils! How do you do?

P’s: We are good. And how do you do?

Teacher: I’m fine, thank you. I’m glad to see you. Tell me, please, how often do you go shopping?

P1: I usually go shopping once a week, if my mum asks me.

Teacher: What do you usually buy?

Teacher: Who always writes shopping list?

Teacher: how do you think looking at the questions, what do we speak about today?

P’s: We are going to speak about shopping.

Teacher: Yes, you’re quite right. Today we ask questions, to read, to write, to work in pairs, to listen, to speak English, to think, to do phonetic exercises.

Phonetic warming-up

Teacher: Let’s practice in English sounds. Now you’ll listen to the tongue twister. Name what sound we’ll practice.

Betty Botter bought some butter

But she said "The butter's bitter,

If I put it in my batter, it will make my batter bitter.

But a bit of better butter, that will make my batter better."

So she bought a bit of butter, better than her bitter butter

And she put it in her batter, and her batter was not bitter.

So it was better Betty Botter bought a bit of better butter.

P’s: We’ll practice sound [b].

Teacher: Yes, you’re quite right. And as you can see our tongue twister is also connected with a topic of the lesson. Now let’s repeat this tongue twister. (Дети повторяют сначала вместе, потом по рядам, а потом по цепочке читая по строчке).

Teacher: On the previous lesson we speak about traditional Japanese dish ‘obento’. Now you should finish my sentences with appropriate words and remember the text about ‘obento’.

  2. Babies drink a lot of milk as it’s very _________ (nourishing).

  3. Peter doesn’t like the food from the canteen, so he brings ______________ (packed) lunch from home/

  4. Obento should look _____________ (appealing).

Teacher: Well done. Remember? Now check your hometask. You should write to your English penfriend a letter about your traditional dish. Let’s read them.

Teacher: Good. Now give me your copybooks, I’ll read and check your letters.

Here you can see 5 pictures. Tell me what is it?

P’s: These are different places where we can buy various things.

Teacher: Yes, you’re quite right. Now let’s read them and translate.

Flea market – вещевой рынок, барахолка

Car boot sale – барахолка

Teacher: Good. Now you should make up 2 sentences with 2 of these words.

Teacher: Let’s speak about these pictures. Look at the ex. 2 p. 28. In pairs choose one picture and describe it, but firstly read a box “Describing pictures”.

Teacher: Well done. And now we’ll get to know the exact names of the shops where we can buy specific things. But firstly name what kinds of shops do you know.

Teacher: Great job. I see that you know a lot of shops. But today I have words that we didn’t speak about. Maybe you hear them or see in some texts. Let’s read them and translate. Ex. 3a p. 28.

Shoe shop – магазин обуви

Hair dressers – парикмахерская

Post office – почта

Fishmonger’s – магазин рыбы

Bakery – пекарня

Jeweller’s – ювелирный магазин

Teacher: Now read the statement and say where we can hear them. Well done. Look at the ex. 3b p. 28. There are the names of various products. Read them and tell where we can buy these things.

Teacher: Very often, when you buy something new and cool you like discussing it with your friends. Who does it?

Teacher: Great. And sometimes your friend likes the thing you bought and asks you to tell where did you buy, what is the price. Now look at the ex. 5 on the p. 29. You’ll listen to the dialogue and you should complete it with appropriate phrases and then act out in the pairs.

Teacher: Now let’s imagine that you are going to the shop. You need to make a shopping list and tell where you can buy it.

Teacher: Good. But some of you don’t know how to get to the right shop. So your task will be, using ex. 4 on the p. 28 give a directions to your partners as in example.

Teacher: Great. And now tell me have you ever been at the flea markets or car boot sales?

Teacher: What can we buy there and why do people attend it?

Teacher: Great. Now you’ll hear a radio advertisement for a flea market. Listen and fill in the missing information. Ex. 6 p. 29

  1. Домашнее задание

Teacher: Today we work a lot in pairs and you hometask will be in pairs. You should make up a dialogue using the words and phrases from this lesson about the new thing you have bought recently.

  1. Рефлексия и подведение итогов

Teacher: Today we spoke about different kinds of shops. Tell what shop do you go often and why? What shops do we have in our town and what we don’t have?

Teacher: Think of six new words or phrases you have learnt in this lesson. Make sentences using them. Great job. Now your marks…..
