Let`s come to the first point of our plan-your home work. Your home task was to write about any sporting event in Russia. Now please open your exercise-books. And let`s listen to some pupils` answers.

Now please open your books on page 46. Today we will talk about types of schools, school life and school days in different countries. So, let`s pass to ex. 1 on page 46. Here you can see different types of schools. Let`s speak about them. Vika, begin.

• Specialist school

So, we know better that there are different kinds of school. 

Now please think over and answer my questions.

Which schools are the most uncommon in our country?

What type of school do you go to?

In ex.1 b you can see different rules which are common in different foreign schools. Let`s read and think which ones are true for our school.

What would you like to change and why? Let`s discuss.

Now we will read a text which is called “Schools around the World” and label each paragraph. Please, pay attention that one heading doesn’t match. Before reading this text let`s translate each heading.
