The aim of the lesson:

Can use geographical information in English lesson.

The procedure of the lesson.

I. Organization moment.

Good morning pupils. You are welcome to our lesson.

1. What is the largest and the smallest ocean?

2. How many oceans are there?

3. Which ocean is covered with ice?

4. Name some things you can find in the ocean.

5. What is the difference between an ocean and a sea?

II. Listening.

They will look at the map and listen to video about oceans and seas after will divide into 2 groups: oceans and seas.

1. Team Seas should talk about their theme what they know and make a presentation.

Team Ocean also do that.

Two teams listen to ask questions to each other.

 III. New words.

Cover - Покрыть.

Threat - Угроза.

Tanker - Танкер.

Sticky - Липкий.

Harm - Вредный.

Trap - Капкан.

Destroy - уничтожить.

Unintelligent - Невежественный.

Jellyfish - Медуза.

Tentacle - Щупальце.

Sting - Жалить.

Shell - ракушка.

Squid - Кальмар.

Enemy - Враг.

Attack - Атаковать.

Release - освобождать.

Edible - Съедобный.

IV. Reading. They will read the text from ex: 1p84 after fill the table.

V. A game: sit in a circle. Think of a message and whisper it to the person next to you. Continue until the last person whispers the message to you. Is it the same?

Mark Summative.

Home work Write about plants and animals in our sea.

Reflection Students write their opinion.
