-What do you know about skyscrapers? Teacher demonstrates the pictures and students tell about skyscrapers from the text of previous lesson. Students use the text book if it is necessary.
2. Activity 1 (I, f) Students complete the sentences and fill in gaps.
3. Activity 2 (I, f) SB: Ex.4, p. 93 Students work individually, write down sentences. Peole use elevators to go up or down a building. Engineers use steel to build strong tall buildings. 3. Tall buildings provide living space for many families. The Empite State Building is a skyscraper in New York. The Burj Khalifa dominates the skyline. He built a brick wall around the garden so that peole couldn’t see inside. Success criteria 6-5-excellent 4-3-good 2-1-satisfactory 0-unsatisfactory
