Biography
- Rudyard Kipling was born in Bombay, in British India in the family of a Professor of the local school of arts of John Kipling and Alice Kipling.
- At the age of 5 Kipling was sent to boarding school in England. The next six years, from October 1871 to April 1877 — Kipling lived in a private guest house Lorne Lodge
- In 12 years, parents gave him in private the Devon school that he was able to go to a prestigious military academy.
- Myopia did not allow Kipling to elect a military career, and the father finds him a job of a journalist in the editorial office of "Civil and military newspaper"
- In October 1882 Kipling returned to India and accepted as the work of a journalist. In his spare time he writes short stories and poems being published by the newspaper along with reports.

Died Rudyard Kipling on 18 January 1936 in London, 2 days earlier George V. He was buried in poets corner, in Westminster Abbey.
