His career began in the Victorian era, when he was little and he came on the stage of Music Hall in the UK

Soon Charlie became a famous actor. At first, his character Chaz looked funny but gradually it became more and more human with warmth and lyricism people associated him with the image of «the little tramp»

Charles Chaplin founded the United Artists film Studio with Mary Pickford, Douglas Fairbanks and David Griffith
