- Let’s start our lesson! Today we are going to remember two times in English – Past Simple and Present Perfect.

But before it we will check your homework . You had to write a composition «What is health?» Let’s do it.

- Let’s do some exercise which helps you to train your pronunciation.

• The Internet is a global computer network which embraces millions of people all over the world.
• I know. It emerged in the United States in 1969 as a military experiment. It was designed to survive the nuclear war. The information transmitted via the Internet takes the shortest path available from one computer to another.
• The most popular Internet service is e – mail.
• Of course, we use the Internet every day.
• I sent a letter by е – mail, I was watching a film online and playing a computer game.
• Yes, I have searched a necessary information connected with one subject at school with the help of the Internet.

Past Simple. We use PS to describe the action which took place in the past.

Remember that the verb «to be» has a form in the past: was – were
