My Biography

Let me introduce myself. My full name is Irina Nikolayevna Snatkina. I’m 16 years old. I was born on November 11th, 1996 in Rostov-on-Don. It is a large city in southern Russia. I grew up and studied in this city. Many young people would want to be on my place as Rostov opens up numerous career opportunities. My parents are both doctors. My mum’s name is Elena and she is a dentist. My dad’s name is Kirill and he is a cardiologist. They both have noble jobs as they help other people from day to day. When I was little we often visited my grandparents who live in a small village in Rostov region. They have a large country house with a garden behind it. My grandmother liked working in her own garden. Every year she has a rich harvest of fruit and vegetables. My grandfather is a mechanic and he likes fixing things. I have positive memories of the village they lived in because each time I came to visit I went for a walk with local kids. I’ve had many good friends there. Sometimes when my granddad went fishing he took me with him. I could never catch a fish but I liked watching him. My grandmother also spent lots of time with me. She often told me interesting stories and she taught me how to cook an apple-pie. The school where I studied was right behind our block of flats. My favourite subjects included History, Geography and Foreign languages. This year I’ve graduated from high school and now I’m going to enter a local Law school. My parents were a bit disappointed because they’ve always wanted me to get medical education. However, I’ve made up my mind to become a lawyer. I think it’s a popular and demanded profession nowadays. My dream is to succeed in my profession and to study further at the university. After graduation I want to travel a bit around Europe.

Autobiography

My name is Mary Stuart. I was born and raised in the heart of Siberia. My native town is Irkutsk. I was born on the 5^th of September in 1980. So, now I am 32 years old.

My parents are lawyers. And they wanted to see me in this profession as well. My mother’s name is Tatiana. She is 57. My father’s name is George. He is 59. I am an only child in the family.

I studied in a local linguistic school. I was an excellent pupil. And I loved my teachers very much. They made learning fun. May be because of the example of my teachers I decided to become one of them.  But I got older, and goals changed and I didn’t pursue that path. After finishing school I entered the linguistic university. There I studied well and many times I was sent abroad to improve my skills in foreign languages.

So, I became an interpreter and a writer. I worked in a local English paper. I had to write notes about the development of the languages, the latest news in this field, everything what is interesting about English. The part I loved most about my job was communication.  Every day I met different people. They helped me know more about other life, learnt something.

I was still active in travelling abroad. In one of this journey I met my future husband. So, we got married in 2004. I became a daycare provider. Now we have a son. He is 4 years old. My husband is a doctor. He works much. I enjoyed being home with my son. But at one time I wanted to have an opportunity to work and use my knowledge again. My husband has got a better place in another city – in Moscow. So, we have to move. I was happy. Now we live on the outskirts of the city. I have found a job in the University. So, I have fulfilled the dream of my childhood.

Как написать автобиографию на английском

При поступлении на работу в зарубежную компанию соискатели сталкиваются с необходимостью составления автобиографии или резюме на английском языке. В России эти понятия чаще всего применяются как равнозначные, хотя автобиография предполагает более подробное раскрытие информации. В других странах используются термины “Curriculum Vitae” и “Resumé” . “Curriculum Vitae” переводится с латинского как «жизненный путь» или «ход жизни» и обозначается аббревиатурой CV.

Resumé –американский термин, тогда как CV используется и британцами, и американцами. Для британцев CV представляет собой обыкновенное резюме с общеизвестными разделами. Для американцев же CV является более полным документом по сравнению с Resumé и помимо классических включает в себя такие разделы как Awards (Награды), Publications (Публикации), Research experience (Исследовательский опыт), Memberships (Членства в ассоциациях / организациях) и т.п. Если вы подаете заявку в британскую или европейскую компанию, выберите термин Curriculum Vitae. Если в американскую – Resumé. Если вы размещаете свое резюме на сайтах по трудоустройству, это снова будет Curriculum Vitae, поскольку вы находитесь в европейской части мира.

Стандартное резюме включает следующие разделы:

- Персональная информация (Personal Information)

- Должность, на которую претендуют (Objective / Employment)

- Образование (Education / Qualifications)

- Опыт работы (Work Experience / History)

- Интересы (Interests)

- Рекомендации (References)

В разделе “Personal Information” напишите имя, первую букву отчества и фамилию: “Vadim S. Korolev”. Укажите свои контакты: почтовый адрес, телефон домашний и мобильный, e-mail.

Обозначьте должность, которую хотите занять в компании: “Objective Office Manager”. Дополнительным плюсом будет изложение в резюме своих планов, которые могут принести компании-работодателю пользу.

В разделе “Education” сначала укажите учебные заведения, которые вы окончили, а уже после – дополнительное образование: курсы, семинары, тренинги, после которых выдается диплом или сертификат. Изложите подробную информацию в таком порядке: специальность (“Lawyer”) – факультет (“Law Faculty”) – вуз (“Moscow State University”).

Заполняя раздел “Career”, перечислите предыдущие места работы в порядке убывания, указывая период работы (“May 2000 – September 2010”), занимаемую должность (“Economist”), отдел (“Financial Department”), название компании (“Motor Service” Ltd.), город (“Astrakhan”), страну (“Russia”), должностные обязанности вкратце.

Из раздела “Skills” работодатель узнает, какими вы владеете компьютерными программами (MS Office, Adobe Photoshop), имеете ли водительские права и какой категории, а также другие умения и способности, делающие вас желаемым кандидатом на должность.

В пункте “Languages” нужно указать, какими вы владеете языками и в какой степени: свободно – fluent, читаю и перевожу – working knowledge, со словарем – basic knowledge.

Далее в разделе “Side Personal Information” опишите себя как ответственного и исполнительного работника, указав в автобиографии свои лучшие черты: целеустремленность – purposefulness, аккуратность – exactness, пунктуальность – punctuality и т.д. Не забудьте указать в резюме свой любимый вид спорта и хобби, чтобы работодатель увидел в вас разностороннюю личность.

В конце автобиографии приведите сведения о работодателях, которые могут дать вам хорошие рекомендации. Можно приложить к резюме рекомендательное письмо, а можно сообщить адрес, куда потенциальный наниматель сможет обратиться за информацией о вас: “Letters of Reference is available upon request from “Motor Service” Ltd., Pushkin St., 21, Astrakhan, Russia”.

При составлении этого раздела помните, что важно выдерживать одинаковое оформление всех пунктов и по возможности использовать одни и те же части речи для описания ваших ключевых обязанностей на том или ином месте работы. К примеру, мои Key responsibilities на предпоследнем месте работы:
