Задачи:

- Учащиеся должны знать и уметь употреблять изученные лексические единицы по теме;

- Учащиеся должны уметь рассказывать о любимых средствах массовой информации;

- Учащиеся должны уметь воспринимать на слух иноязычную речь.

Ход урока.

I. Приветствие, орг. момент (2 мин)

- Good morning, students! I’m glad to see you. Take your seat, please.

Today we are going to summarize information about Mass Media.

First, you’ve got your own personal student’s cards at your desks. Please, write down your names and surnames in them. You will use these cards during the lesson and do exercises in them. Your mark for the lesson will depend on your score.

-So, now we are ready to start!

And at first let`s revise the words. Look at the blackboard, you should make collocations.

The Mass Media play a very important part in our lives.

- And now tell me, please, what types of Mass Media do you know?

• Radio
• Television
• The Internet
• Newspapers

- I see, you know the main media, but what are their definitions? Look at the screen, please. You should match the words and their definitions. Who want to start?
