This day marks the birth of Christ. It is celebrated with all-night services in church.
On this day people send Valentine cards and presents to their husbands, wives, boy-friends and girl-friends.
On this spring day people prefer to go out into the streets and take part in all kinds of outdoor activities.
Witches, black cats, skeletons, spiders and pumpkins with lighted candles in them are the symbols of this holiday.
It is the main religious festival. Children colour eggs. Churches hold special services on this day.
This is a day off. Men and young boys try to please their mothers, sisters and friends by giving them flowers, presents and chocolates.
This day is celebrated with present-giving by Father Frost, decorating New Year trees and Joyful parties.
