"Five apples?” ашық сабақ жоспары

Aims: to explain the new theme to the pupils and to revise the preceding theme, that is countable and uncountable nouns. Objectives: Educational: to enrich pupils’ knowledge about countable and uncountable nouns, to study the using of “much” and “many”, to use it in sentences. Developing: to develop pupils’ interest, habits and skills of oral and written speech. Upbringing: to bring - up pupils to be attentive, to write neatly and correctly and to rouse their interest to learning English. Visual aids: text - books, cards, Literature: “English” by Ayapova T. T. The procedure of the lesson:

Theme: Five apples?”
Type of the lesson: combined
Teaching methods: explanation, question - answer, speaking, pairwork and groupwork.
Aims: to explain the new theme to the pupils and to revise the preceding theme, that is countable and uncountable nouns.
Objectives:
Educational: to enrich pupils’ knowledge about countable and uncountable nouns, to study the using of “much” and “many”, to use it in sentences.
Developing: to develop pupils’ interest, habits and skills of oral and written speech.
Upbringing: to bring - up pupils to be attentive, to write neatly and correctly and to rouse their interest to learning English.
Visual aids: text - books, cards, Literature: “English” by Ayapova T. T.
The procedure of the lesson:

I. Organization moment:
T: Good - afternoon, pupils!
P: Good - afternoon, teacher!
T: How are you?
P: We are fine, thanks, and you?
T: I am OK, thank you. Take your seats, please. Who is on duty today?
P: I’m on duty today.
T: What date is it today?
P: Today is 27th of September.
T: What day is it today?
P: Today is Monday.
T: Who is absent?
P: … is/… are absent.
T: Sit down, please.

II. Warm – up:
T: - So, let’s begin our lesson. At first, let’s revise the preceding lesson. Please, answer the my question.
- What is the countable noun?
- What is the uncountable noun?
- When do you say “some”?
- When do you say “any?
Please, make the question with this sample?
Are there any …?
Is there any …?

III. Checking - up the home task:
T: - Now, let’s check - up your home task. What was your home task?
P: The home task
T: Are you ready?
P: Yes, we are ready.
T: Who wants to start?
P: May I. May I.
T: OK, you please.

IV. Introduction of the new theme:
T: - So, let’s study using of some, any, a lot of and much / many.
In English nouns can be countable (a man, a table) and uncountable (milk, money).
Countable nouns:
- Can be singular or plural (flower – flowers)
- Can have number in front of them. (I have two cats. There are six men in the room).
Uncountable nouns:
- Have no plural form and always appear with a singular verb. (Money isn’t everything)
- Don’t go with number. (I’ve got some / a lot of time).
- Don’t take a or an. (I bought bread and milk).
A lot of / lot’s of
We use a lot of with countable and uncountable nouns.
e. g. They earn a lot of money.
There are a lot of apples.
And we use a lot of /lot’s of in questions and negative sentences.
e. g. Are there a lot of books?
I haven’t got a lot of friends.
Much / many
We use much only with uncountable nouns in questions and negative sentences.
e. g. How much cheese is there in the fridge?
I haven’t got much money.
We use many only with countable nouns in questions and negative sentences.
e. g. How many children have they got?
There aren’t many people in the room.
A few / a little
We use a few with countable nouns.
e. g. There are a few apples on the table.
We use a little with uncountable nouns.
e. g. There’s a little milk in the bottle.
