Nowadays almost everyone looks after his or her health and tries to keep fit. While doing a project on sports that are popular among university students in Zetland I found some relevant data that I am going to comment on.

According to the table, the most popular option/ reason/ opinion is athletics chosen by 32% of the surveyed. The second most sizeable group prefers football (23%). It can also be seen that the smallest proportion of the respondents mention skiing (10%).

Looking more closely at the table, we can note that gymnastics appears to be more preferable than tennis as the difference between these two options is 5 percentage points.

One problem that may arise with doing sports is that it can be dangerous for your health. However, there is a possible solution to this problem. People should warm-up before starting the training session and be careful while doing exercises. Moreover, a professional coach should provide his assistance with following safety rules.

In conclusion, I believe that sport is essential for university students because it is a great way to keep fit and healthy during studies. Also, doing sports together with classmates help to make new friends.
