A mammal is an animal that has a backbone and grows hair at some point during its life. In addition, all female mammals have glands that can produce milk. This is to feed their babies. Mammals are among the most intelligent of all living creatures.
Most mammals live on land – on the ground, in the trees or even underground. However, some mammals such as otters, beavers and seals live on land and in the water. Whales and dolphins are mammals that spend their whole life in the water.

Reptiles

Reptiles are cold-blooded animals. Most of

also means that reptiles don’t burn as much energy keeping their body warm and,
as a result, they don’t have to eat nearly as much food as a similar sized
mammal or other warm-blooded animals.
Reptiles can be found on every continent except for Antarctica.
