– Hello, our dear friends! My name is Frankie.
– Hello, everyone! I’m Kevin.
– Welcome to our lesson.
– We are happy to see you!
– Hello, boys!
– Oh, hello, dad! Meet my friend Kevin, please!
– Nice to meet you, Kevin!
– Nice to meet you too, Mr. Cooper.
– Dad, Kevin’s parents allowed him to go to the cinema tonight. Can I go with him?
– Sure, but before you go, could you read a story to your little brother, please? He can’t fall asleep.
– Dad, I don’t want to read him any stories.
– Well… In this case, you should take him with you to the cinema.
– No, please! Henry is very noisy! If we take Henry with us, we won’t be able to watch the film.
– Frankie, you have a choice! You can spend 10 minutes and read a short story to your little brother, or you can take him with you to the cinema.
– All right! In this case, I would rather read a story to Henry.
– Fantastic!
– Kevin, can you wait for me here, please?
– Sure. No problem.
– Thank you so much. Let’s go, dad!

Great! Now listen to the story “The Wooden House”.
Once there stood a small wooden house in the open field. One day a little mouse ran by.
The mouse saw the wooden house and said:
“Little house, little house! Who lives in this little house?”
Nobody answered, so the mouse went into the house and began to live there.
Then a green frog hopped by. The frog saw the wooden house and said:
“Little house, little house! Who lives in this little house?”
“I am a little mouse. And who are you?”
“I am a green frog, and I have nowhere to live. May I come in?”
“Yes, of course! Come in, please! And let’s live together!”
As a result, the little mouse and the green frog started living together.
One day a cheerful rabbit ran by. The rabbit saw the wooden house and asked:
“Little house, little house! Who lives in this little house?”
“I am a little mouse.”
“I am a green frog. And who are you?”
“I am a cheerful rabbit. I need some place to live. Can I come in, please?”
“Sure! Let’s live together!”
After that the little mouse, the green frog and the cheerful rabbit started living together.
One day a red fox came by. The fox saw the wooden house and asked:
“Little house, little house! Who lives in this little house?”
“I am a little mouse.”
“I am a green frog.”
“I am a cheerful rabbit. And who are you?”
“I am a red fox! And I have no place to go. May I come in?”
“Oh, yes, of course!”
“Come in, please!”
“And let’s live together!”
As a result, the little mouse, the green frog, the cheerful rabbit and the red fox started living together.
Another day a grey wolf walked by. The wolf saw the wooden house and said:
“Little house, little house! Who lives in this little house?”
“I am a little mouse.”
“I am a green frog.”
“I am a cheerful rabbit.”
“I am a red fox. And who are you?”
“I am a grey wolf. And I really need some place to live. Can I come in, please?”
“Oh, sure! Let’s live together!”
Then the little mouse, the green frog, the cheerful rabbit, the red fox and the grey wolf started living together.
One day a big bear walked by. The bear saw the wooden house and asked:
“Little house, little house! Who lives in this little house?”
“I am a little mouse.”
“I am a green frog.”
“I am a cheerful rabbit.”
“I am a red fox.”
“I am a grey wolf. And who are you?”
“I am a big bear. And I have no place to live. May I come in?”
“Yes, of course!”
“Come in, please!”
“And let’s live together!”
After those words the big bear started climbing onto the yellow roof and crushed the whole wooden house.
After that all of the scared animals ran away in different directions.
