РАЗРАБОТКА УРОКА АНГЛИЙСКОГО ЯЗЫКА В 8 КЛАССЕ ПО ТЕМЕ

«Victory Day»

Класс: 8

Цель урока: Развитие иноязычной коммуникативной компетенции.

Задачи:

Образовательные:

1. закреплять и активизировать в речи обучающихся лексические единицы по теме;

2. развивать различные виды речевой деятельности, обеспечивающие познавательно-коммуникативные потребности учащихся;

3. расширять словарный запас учащихся.

4. развивать умения, составляющие лингвистическую компетенцию: сопоставление языковых явлений в изучаемом и родном языках;

5. развивать информационную и социокультурную компетенции.

Развивающие:

1. развивать языковые способности и устойчивый интерес к изучению английского языка у учащихся;

2. развивать умения планировать речевое и неречевое поведение (умение работать в паре/ в группе);

3. развивать воображение при моделировании ситуаций общения и языковую догадку;

4. развивать навыки работы с информацией.

Воспитательные:

1. воспитывать чувство патриотизма и любви к Родине, к людям, защищавшим её в годы войны;

2. воспитывать уважение к культурным традициям родной страны;  

3. способствовать осознанию возможностей самореализации средствами иностранного языка;

4. воспитывать организованность, дисциплинированность, уважение к культурным ценностям.

Планируемый результат:

• уметь называть новые слова и фразы;

• уметь читать учебный материал на имитационной основе;

• уметь работать в парах

Тип урока: комбинированный.

Методы обучения: системно-деятельностный, проблемный, наблюдение, чтение, говорение.

Формируемые компетенции:

- Личностные: 1) воспитывать культуру общения, интерес к культурным ценностям своего народа; 2) воспитание у обучающихся интереса к изучению английского языка, овладение им как средством общения, познания, самореализации.

- Метапредметные: 1) умение работать в парах, в малых группах, строить логические рассуждения; 2) уметь осознанно использовать речевые средства в соответствии с задачей коммуникации.

- Предметные: 1) понимать на слух запрашиваемую информацию; 2) развивать умения диалогической речи (в диалоге этикетного характера) и монологической речи; 3) развивать навыки распознавания и употребления в речи числительных в названии даты.

Межпредметные связи: история, география, русский язык, литература.

Оборудование: Аудиозапись песен военных лет, картинки, опорные лексические сигналы. Раздаточный материал для учащихся для создания коллажа (открытки), для индивидуальной работы. Оценочные карты для каждого ученика.

Организация пространства: Работа фронтальная, в парах.

1 этап. Организационный момент. (2мин)

Приветствие.

T: Good morning, pupils! I′m glad to see you. Sit down, please. How are you?

2 этап. Постановка темы урока (2 мин)

Т: Now, we will listen to the song. Try to guess the theme of our lesson.

So, listen to the song very attentively, please.

Pp: Cлушают песню «День Победы» в исполнении Льва Лещенко.

Т: So, Can you guess it?

Pp: We will talk about Victory Day.

Т: Well done. When do we celebrate this Day?

P1_: Victory Day is celebrated on the 9^th of May.

3 этап. Подведение детей к формулированию темы и цели урока. (5 мин)

What do you think we shall do at our lesson?

Учащиеся формулируют цель и задачи урока:

-I think we′ll use lexic to the theme «Victory Day»;

- I think that we’ll sing songs;

- I think we′ll make a project «Victory Day» etc.

T: We have celebrated the 74th anniversary of the Great Victory on the 9th of May in 2019; Victory Day is one of the most important holidays in our country. It is also a great holiday for all the countries which fought in the Second World War against fascism. We should never forget those who gave their lives for our future. 

Т: When is Victory day celebrated?

P1: on the 9th of May

Т: Why is it a big holiday in our country?

P2:  Because we fought in the Second World War against fascism and won.

Т: What do people do in this day?

P1, 2, 3; In all towns there are decorations, flags and posters in the streets, in the shop windows and on the front of large buildings. On Victory Day morning there are meetings and demonstrations of the veterans who fought in the Great Patriotic War. On that day there is military parade in all big cities of our country. Flowers and souvenirs are given to those who took part in the Great Patriotic War. There are a lot of people in the streets and squares, at theatres, cinemas and concert halls. They all celebrate their holiday. Many people go to see their friends or go for walks in the parks. In the evening there is a holiday salute and a minute of silence to remember all those who did not come back from the war.

Teacher: We celebrated the 74th Anniversary in May. Seventy-four years ago our grandfathers and great-grandfathers won the Great Patriotic War. Thanks to our country the Second World War ended and peace was restored. 
Keep silence. Let’s honour those people who gave us freedom from fascists.
We’re proud of them. 

I want to live

And not to die.

I want to feel

The summer sun.

I want to sing

When life is fun.

We want to stretch out

Friendly hands

To all the young

Of other lands.

5 этап. Сообщение целей урока. (3 мин)

Teacher: Today we will do different exercises such as: read the text, answer the questions, do postcards , sing the song and make up dialogues. I think you will be active. I wish you good luck. Let’s begin our work.

6 этап.  Чтение текста (10 мин)

Teacher: Read the text about Victory Day and answer the questions.

Victory Day

  In Russia and other countries Victory Day, or 9^th May, is one of the great holidays of the year. It is a holiday of all people.

In all towns there are decorations, flags and placards in the streets, in the shop windows and on the front of large buildings.  

On Victory Day morning there are meetings and demonstrations of the veterans who fought in the Great Patriotic War.

On that day there is military parade in all big cities of our country.

Flowers and souvenirs are given to those who took part in the Great Patriotic War.

There are a lot of people in the streets and squares, at theatres, cinemas and concert halls. They are all celebrating their holiday. Many people go to see their friends or go for walks in the parks.

In the evening there is a holiday salute and a minute of silence to remember all those who did not come back from the war.

Student  1

You have come to Donetsk from London. Today is Victory Day. You have learned about World War II at school, but you know nothing about the Great Patriotic War. You are surprised to see that Victory Day is a really great holiday here. You want to learn about this day as much as possible.

Student 2

You live in Donetsk. Today is Victory day. Your friend from London doesn’t know anything about the history and traditions of celebrating this holiday. Answer his/her questions; tell him/her about the Great Patriotic War.

Учитель раздает карточки с заданием. Учащиеся составляют диалог, а затем рассказывают его.

9 этап. Создание открытки (6 мин)

As you know next year we will celebrate the 75th anniversary of the Great Victory on the 9th of May. So, let’s do postcards for our grandparents and veterans.

T: Сan you name the symbols of this holiday?

P: Carnations, St.George's Ribbons, pigeons, eternal flame and salute.

T: Very good. Now I give you the letters, the stars and St.George's Ribbons. You must do the postcards using the symbols of the Great Victory.

T: Good job.
